Chapter 18:
Julie's POV:
I sat on my bed, thinking things over. "I was a little rough," a voice said in my head. "No, he deserved it," another voice said. I was so confused. Jessa would help me, she always does. Jessa never texted back though. It was 11 o'clock by the time I heard from her. "Where have you been?!" I asked; we were on the phone. I was pacing my bedroom, too scared to face Oliver without Jessa's help first. "I'm sorry I had to sneak out and I had to wait for my parents to go to sleep!" She said. "I'm picking Charlie up now." "Ok hurry, I haven't even left my room Jess!" I told her. "Come on Jules! Show him who's boss!" She said. I laughed and said goodbye. I checked myself in the mirror. Still hot. I put my pumps on and walked around, practicing so I don't fall on my face outside. I looked out through my balcony door. The party looked good; people were dancing and drinking and eating. I took a deep breath before opening my bedroom door. Even if I wasn't going to tell Oliver off, I could still go catch up with my friends. This is my party after all. I walked down the stairs, picked up a house key, and went outside, locking the door behind me. The first people I saw were my friends, Alice and Sophia dancing together. I went over to them. "Hey! How's it going? I've missed you both so much!" I say hugging them. We talked for a little bit while dancing together. I looked around, seeing how people where enjoying the party. My eyes drifted over to the fire pit. I see Oliver but I just brush it off. Wait, what did I just see? I look over at him and see a girl grinding on him. And he's enjoying it. I get so angry that everything I see starts to spin. I get lightheaded by anger. "What's wrong???" Sophia asks, concerned. "My boyfriend," I pointed at him. "Look at that pig! He's cheating on me! What the hell?!" I scream. Alice speaks up. "Holy shit, I will go fucking beat him up right now," I just instantly feel sick. I need to go. My feet start moving before my mind registers it. All of a sudden I realize I'm running down my street, clutching my shoes in my right hand.
Oliver's POV:
I look up to the deck and see Julie. She looks confused and angry. I try to focus my eyes on her. She's crying. What happened?! She points at me. Oh god, it's me. She saw this hoe all over me. I drunkly push this slut off of me and start running towards Julie, trying not to fall over. I really shouldn't have drank so much. I'm almost near her when she takes off running. I go after her, running up the steps of the deck. Suddenly, two girls appear in front of me. "Are you Julie's boyfriend?" They ask, stopping me. "Yes! I have to go get her!" I yell. "No! We aren't letting you near her, you're a pig. We saw you cheating on her!" A blonde girl yells at me. "Bullshit! Let me through!" I yell and push past them. I run down the street in the direction that I saw her run. As I'm running, I realize I have tears streaming down my cheeks. I'm crying. This is all my fault. I'm such a bad step-....boyfriend. This is all shit. Just fucking shit. I see a car turn onto the road im running on. They must think I'm insane. I see that it's a dark blue PT cruiser. That's the same car Jessa has. It slows down as we get near each other. The window rolls down and I see Jessa and Charlie inside. "Oliver! What's wrong?!" She asks. "Julie, she ran away...I can't find her..." I try to explain, out of breath and crying. "Dear lord. Get in." She demands.
