johnnys pov: annie worked the schedule out for me so i would be able to balance soccer, and not have to much on my plate.
when i asked her at first she was being annoying about it, but that's just her.
she understood.
especially since her i can tell so much pressure is on her shoulders.

i didn't have to go to the club today, but after practice i decided to stop by.
i saw annie sitting at the table in her yellow leaders shirt.
with her hair in a pony tail.
she had all these bracelets on her wrist and necklaces around her necks.
with face paint on her arms and two hearts on each side of her faces
j: hey
i say approaching her.
a: hi, i didn't know you were coming today.
j: well i just wanted to see how everything was going and why do you look like that?
a: the second grade and down are here today!
she says overly excited.
j: oh that explains a lot, where are they now?
a: they're trash hunting, whoever brings me more trash in their bags-
she gets cut off by excessive screaming.
j: here they come.
k1: annie annie! look at our bag!
a: oh my gosh red team! look how full that bag is! i can't believe how much of the environment you just saved right now, you guys are rockstars!
she says very enthusiastically.
a: guys if you want to get ahead i think there's a ton more trash over that way!
the kids run off.
j: they have loads of energy.
a: yes there's a lot, but i love it.
she says smiling.
j: what's happening tomorrow?
a: tomorrow are the third through sixth grade volunteers, so still so much energy. and we're gonna be breaking into groups and doing a scavenger hunt.
j: scavenger hunt.
a: like find a bird feeder and fill it with bird food then take a picture, each person grabs ten pieces of trash, find a person using a reusable water bottle. things like that.
j: ah what team will i be on.
a: whichever, you'd like. you could be on kenzie's, nadia's, ruby's, or mine.
j: i didn't know they were apart of this.
a: we've done it together for years.
j: i'll be with whoever is yellow.
i knew it would be hers.
a: well that's mine of course, yellows my favorite color.
j: guess it's my lucky day then.
i say to her grinning and she just rolls her eyes.
j: do you want to hang out after?
a: you're staying?
j: if you say yes.
a: where?
j: you can come over for dinner.
a: if i say yes you can't bring up any relationship stuff. it annoys me.
j: fine i'll bring it up tomorrow.
i say smiling.
j: i'm gonna make you fall for me jules.
a: i don't know about that.
j: really? i see the way you used to act around me and how you act now. i see that even though you were upset with me a few days ago you still enjoy talking to me. i see that you block out feelings you don't want, including me. you may not be there yet, but i know you feel something.
