She's pissed. Her Dad decided that they'll have the same car. When JD opened the passenger's side kanina, hindi siya pumasok, instead dumiretso siya sa likuran, that makes JD no choice but to sit at the passenger side.

Sa naiinis ako sa kumag na to eh.

I know that my brother is peeking at me at the mirror. Tumatawa pa! May alam ba to? While I am seeing my brother being entertained, I am seeing JD's worried look. Buti nga sa'yo! I hate the guts of this man. At naiinis ako sa sarili ko for being so damn shy and meek and being affected by the confession which she doesn't know if totoo or part lang ng game nitong dalawang to.

Napakunot ang noo niya, she's trying to remember if by chance Siegfried did pulled a prank like this before—pero wala siyang maalala, dahil kung pagdating naman lang sa mga lalaki na nanliligaw sa kanya—Siegfried and her Dad are the kind that would do everything para takutin ang mga manliligaw niya.

I put my headphone on, and played some music on my Spotify. Lend my head back and decided to take some nap. It's the only way I can avoid a conversation with the two devil. And I don't want to see the stealing glances of JD. It's making me uncomfortable.

A screeching sound of the car's wheel was loudly heard and followed by Siegfried's loud voice that made all her hair stood up!

"FUCK! Seatbealt, Athena!!!"

"What? What's happening?" She asked while her hand is reaching for the seatbelt.

"Just put your fucking seatbelt!"

"I am on it! Teka! Hindi ko makuha—Ouch!" Tumilapon ang hawak niyang cellphone and small pouch because of the sudden turned that Siegfried made.

"Let me..."

She saw JD, unbuckled his seatbelt and reach for her at the back, moving so quickly, snapping her seatbelt in just a few seconds.

"There, you're good, sweetheart." and he gently tap her left cheek.

"Tha-Thank you..." Her breath suspended at a sudden change of event. For a few seconds, all she could ever think is how this man smells so good.

"Bro! Get here! And put your seatbelt on!"

"Got it bro!"

Hearing those made her mind alert again and she couldn't help but be afraid at the moment. Gusto niyang kunin ang cellphone niya sa paanan ng paa niya and call her parents.

"Two cars Siege, to your left side and the one is tailing us. Sinusundan ng security details..."

"FUCK!"

"What's happening, Seige?"

Her brother dialled a number on the built in bluetooth of the car and suddenly she finally heard his Dad's voice."

"Siegfried!"

"Dad! We're being tailed!"

"I know, the security details informed me. I am calling more people. By now, you already know what to do—make sure you get to the place!"

"Yes, Dad! I will!"

"Get you and your sister, safe!"

"Mom?"

"She doesn't know yet. I'll take care of your Mom."

"Okay! Bye Dad!"

"JD? Are you there?"

"Tito?"

"I owe you one, JD. Salamat!"

"No, problem Tito."

"I'll hang up! Take care!"

Ang bilis lahat ng pangyayari. She found herself calling all the Saints and thinking a lot about her parents. Takot na takot siya sa klase ng pagpapalipad ng sasakyan ng kapatid niya. Feeling niya any moment, matatapon sila sa ere at babaligtad hanggang sa sumabog ang sasakyan nila.

She's closing her eyes tightly, hindi niya namalayan na tumutulo na ang luha niya sa takot at pangamba. Sa bawat ingay ng gulong, pagliko at pag giwang ng sasakyan, all she could do is scream her mind in prayer. Ganito pala ang feeling when you're in a verge of life and death, hindi niya maipaliwanag.

She's tightly gripping her hands on the seatbelt, her eyes were still shut so tight, when all of the sudden someone grab her arms, unbuckled her seatbelt took her out from the car—she is closing her eyes tightly and this time screaming her fears away.

"Oh God! Oh My God! Oh My God! Mommy! Daddy! Oh My God!"

"Athena! Athena!"

She heard her brother's screamed loud at her ear at naramdaman niya ang pagyugyog nito ng mariin sa balikat niya. She opens her eyes, and she saw her brother's face—clad with worry and determination.

"Love, we don't have time, please..."

She roamed her eyes at the surrounding, nasa labas na siya ng sasakyan, in an empty warehouse, standing behind her brother is JD. Was that worry and anger she saw from him?

"Athena, we need to move. JD will take care of you."

"What? Saan ako pupunta? Iiwanan mo ako sa kanya?"

Her eyes wide and panic sets in.

"Love, Daddy knows. JD will take care of you, he will bring you somewhere safe. Please, we need to move, now!"

She flinches as his brother raised his voice with urgency.

"But—"

"No buts, Athena. Bro, go! Don't call us, we will call you. Everything is ready, bring the other car, you know what to do, Bro. Security details will follow you discreetly. Thank you, bro."

"No problem, bro. Let's go Athena."

JD moved towards her and held her left arm.

"Siege? Will I ever see you again? Will I ever see Mommy and Daddy?" She began to cry. She's so scared. She doesn't want to leave her family.

"Love, you will see us. Promise, we will see each other again, Athena. I love you..."

"Siege..." She ran to his brother's arms and hugged him so tight.

"Please, tell Mommy and Daddy I love them so much, I love you...please..."

Her brother hugged her even tighter. Kissed her forehead and gave her to JD.

"Bro, please take care of my sister. We owe you big time."

"Bro, I will..."

"Thanks, bro..."

After a few glances, JD guide her to the other car. Made sure she wore her seatbelt and with sense of urgency they leave the place.

Walang kumikibo sa kanila. JD is so occupied checking the rear view mirror if there's an unknown car that might alert them na nasundan sila. While she's in deep thought—thinking about what will happen to her now? What will happen to her parents? To her brother? Will she ever see them again? And again, her tears fell.

Nagulat siya when she felt JD's hand get her right hand and gently squeezes it as if telling her everything will be okay. Napatingin siya dito and she saw his eyes intently looking at her and reassuring her that he'll do everything to protect her, and as if he heard her thoughts—he spoke to her, and gave her the words that she needed at the moment—and somehow she believed him...

"You're safe with me, Athena. I will lay down my life just to protect you. All I want is for you to trust me. Just trust me, love."
