Chapter 5

Peter's Point of View.

I saw that the time was 2:59 pm. Shit, I promised that I'll meet MJ! I decided to wear my spidey suit and surprise her. I decide that for our first date I'll take MJ across NY in Spidey-style. I tried to swing faster across the buildings cause I didn't want Mj to be upset. Just when I passed through the tallest building in NY, I decided to take a Selfie while I was swinging past a building.

 Just then I heard a tring, A notification from my phone. Oh my God, What if it's MJ texting me because she's mad at me? I checked my phone and thank God, it was just Aunt May, texting me not to texting and swing.  Shit, I forgot to swing once, I almost hit against a wall! Thank God, I managed to roll and I survived. I guess one mustn't swing and text at the same time. 

A few seconds later when I was passing through the main street, I saw Mia sitting on the edge of an abandoned building, eating her favorite sandwich and listening to music, and looking straight at me. Her blue eyes lifelessly stared into my dark brown ones. Usually, they were full of mischief and sparkling with happiness. I wonder what she was thinking about. Sure I used to have a crush on her, but I always thought of her not liking me back. And she also had a box next to her? I decided to ignore her because I'm Spider-Man, she wouldn't recognize me like this.

A few minutes later I saw MJ walking down an empty street. I tried to catch up to her and landed right in front of her. She wasn't really startled at all.

"Oh. Hey." She said quite awkwardly. 

MJ was wearing a white t-shirt and on top of that, she wore a black coat and black pants. She wore matching black and white sneakers. This was the first time I saw MJ leave her hair down. I think she also wore makeup? My mind wandered how Mia always looked good, with or without makeup. She spent less time with me (and Ned of course) and then the first time I spoke with her was yesterday. Why was I thinking about Mia now? I'm with MJ! I ignored the last thought.

"Hey."

"I thought you weren't coming"

"Sorry bout that. I had some issues."

"It's fine."

"So you ready to go?"

"Yeah"

I picked her up and we swung across buildings and MJ was screaming the whole time and I think Mia would have liked it very much. Gods, why am I thinking about Mia?

 A few minutes later, with MJ screaming the whole time, and my God, they were the longest 120 seconds of my whole life. And I'm surprised how my ears are still functioning. I dropped her down gently. But then MJ whispered to me gently,

"Peter, look over there!" She sounded alarmed.

"Isn't that Mia over there? FALLING DOWN?!"

I looked over to where she was pointing to.... and It was Mia falling down from the building earlier. I immediately jumped into action. And I also saw that she was glowing.

 I caught her in midair and landed on the terrace of the same building she was sitting on. I took a clearer look at her. 

She was glowing blue, her hair had a yellow tinge. What I saw next, was that I couldn't believe my eyes. 

It was the stone thingy from Thanos's gauntlet, which me and the other Avengers tried to destroy them. But the stones were kept in their respective timelines by the remaining Avengers. So how did she get them?. I removed her bandage and saw that her wound was completely healed, and there was only a lightning-shaped scar, just like Harry Potter.

I dropped her softly on her bed. The room was filled with the smell of vanilla and strawberries. There were also photos of her friends and some calligraphy pictures, drawings everywhere, except one place in the right corner of the room, where the moonlight passed through, and you could sit there. That corner of the room was filled with calculations and derivations of all sorts. This was the first time I came to her house, although she told me where she lived. 

The glowing has gone almost completely now, although you could see a small tint of it though. I decide to take the space stone and hand it over to S.H.I.E.L.D.

 I picked up the stone from Mia's hand. When I touched it, it almost burned my hand! How could she hold it? I think it emits some kind of energy? I took a towel that was lying nearby and wrapped the stone in it.

The window through which I came was still open. So I went out and closed it and went back home, with one job to do before going home: Return this to S.H.I.E.L.D.

When I went to the new S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters, the building was filled with people.

 I went into the building and saw Fury surrounded by a group of people and having a discussion among them, near the reception.

When I approached Fury, all the other guys were gone by then.

"Parker?"

"Yeah, it's me Mr.Fury"

"Whatcha doing here?"

"Mr.Fury, this evening, A classmate of mine fell off a building.."

"Ahh.. I've seen that. It's all over the news."

"Right. So, I take her back and leave her at her house, and then I saw that she had this," I explain to Fury and show the space stone to Fury.

"Isn't this the Space stone? How did she get this?"

"Same question!"

"Give it to me, I'll keep it in the highest security breech development site" He said,  extending his hand towards the stone.

"Don't touch it without the towel." I warned him.

He nodded his head and took the stone and went to one of the elevators. 

I left the building and swung into the night.
