Third Person POV
The Dwarves come into the dining hall and poke around the food.
"Just try a bite." Dori says to Ori, who's holding a piece of salad.
"I don't like green food." Ori tells his brother.
Dwalin looks through a bowl of salad. "Where's the meat?" he asks no one in particular.
"Have they got any chips?" Ori asks in the same way.
"Patience is virtue, my friends." says a sweet friendly voice behind them.
Is that...... Fili thinks.
The Dwarves turn to see a cluster of Elf women and then their eyes widened after the Elves moved to show who they were hiding.
Thea walks towards the Dwarves and as they all stare intensely at her, their jaws drop open, even Thorin's.
Fili stands up and walks over to her, heart racing and threatening to pound out of his chest.
They looked at each other in silence and then, Fili scoops Thea in his arms. As his arms go around her waist, Thea's arms go around Fili's neck and buried her head in the crook of his neck.
They hold each other like they're scared they're going to lose each other again.
"You're here!" he says into the crook of her neck.
She smiles. "Surprise!" she whispers.
Thea feels Fili smile against her neck.
"I have something to ask you." he says.
"And I have something to tell you." Thea says. "We'll talk after the feast."
"Alright."
They pull apart and walk to the table. Thea sits in between Thorin and the empty seat that will be taken by Lord Elrond, Balin and Bilbo sit across from them.
Then, Elves bring food and beverages. And they set them on the table, bowing at Thea.
"They have meat!!" Dwalin, Ori, Oin, and almost all of the Dwarves cheer.
Thea smiled, happy that she asked Elrond to give the dwarves meat. Thorin looks at Thea.
"You did this?" he asks her.
"Well," Thea smirked. "I couldn't really be a kind hostess if I didn't give you all meat, could I?"
Thorin smiles and laughs. The other Dwarves have not heard him laugh in so long.
Elrond and Gandalf return and sit down at the table. Elrond sits at the head of the table, next to Gandalf and Thorin.
"Father," Thea says to Elrond. "You may want to see the swords we found on our journey."
With that, Gandalf and Thorin brings out their swords for Elrond to see. Elrond takes Thorin's sword, first.
He sees the blade and his eyes widen. He look at Thea.
"You already know what these blades are, don't you?" he asks her.
She nod. "I figured that you would want to see them, nevertheless."
"What are they?" Thorin asks, still confused.
"These swords are from the Orc Wars," Thea says. "Forged by the High Elves."
"My kin." says Lord Elrond, handing the sword to Thea.
"This sword is called Orcrist, the Goblin Cleaver." Thea continues, giving the sword back to Thorin.
Elrond gives Thea Gandalf's sword after seeing it as well.
"And this is Clamdring," she finishes before giving the sword back to Gandalf. "The Foehammer."
"May they serve you well." Elrond says. "How did you come across them?"
"We came upon them in a troll cave, on the Western Road." says Gandalf, which caused Thorin to stop eating and look at Gandalf, worried that he would give away information.
"And why were you on the Western Road, may I ask?" Elrond asks.
There was a moment of silence before anyone spoke.
"We will discuss such matters after our feast," Thea says, taking Lord Elrond's hands. "For now, let enjoy the food and entertainment."
"Very well," Elrond smiles at his daughter. "And to make this feast all the more delightful, Thea, will you sing for us?"
"Oh, well-"
"You can sing, Thea?!" all the Dwarves ask in unison.
"Well,-"
"Oh, please sing, Thea. I would love that." Fili asks her. "We all would."
The Dwarves agree with him, begging and pleading Thea to sing. Thea smiles and shakes her head in disbelief before standing up.
"Oh, alright."
