After the feast, everyone goes their own way to spend the day and night how they want.

Thea's talking to her father, while Fili stares at her, admiring her beauty. She is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen.

After Lord Elrond left Thea, she turns to look at him. Their eyes meet and they both smile. Thea jerks her head in the direction of the gardens, her meaning clear.

Come with me.

And Fili follows along. He goes to her and together, they go down the stairs. Thea leads him to the gardens, until they hear the sounds of the feast quieter.

Then, Thea turns around to face Fili. Her heart thunders loudly at the sight of him. She only has found out that she loves him. But, he couldn't possibly love her in return. Even so..............

"Fili, I need to tell you something." she says at the same time as Fili says:

"Thea, I have something to tell you."

They both look at each other and laugh a little. Then, Thea returns to being serious.

"Fili, I need to tell you something." she says.

"Yes?"

"I have to tell you this now or I may live the rest of my days in regret."

Fili walks up to Thea and grips her arms softly. "Thea..... Just tell me."

Thea takes a deep breath before saying:

"I love you."

Fili goes rigid with shock and his eyes widened. Thea stands her ground, preparing herself for his rejection.

But, instead, Fili's hands grab both sides of her face, then crashes his lips onto hers! Thea instantly freezes in his grasp............... then slowly starts to kiss him back.

Fili drops hands down to her waist to pull her to him as Thea wraps her arms around his neck.

Their lips moves at a slow and loving pace, both so hapy. Then, Fili pulls back.

"I am so in love with you."

Thea smiles at these words then puts her lips back to his. Their kiss becomes more passionate as Fili pushes Thea's back against a tree.

His mouth breaks off of hers, then trails down to her neck, kissing and occasionally biting, causing Thea to sigh with pleasure.

"Thea?" Elrond's distant voice calls her.

"Yes?" Thea calls back, trying to push Fili off her, but he brings his lips to hers.

"Come here please." Elrond calls.

"By and by, I come." Thea calls before kissing Fili again before walking away from him.

Another second later, she runs back and kisses him again. He smiles as they kiss for a few moments.

Then, she pulls away from him and walks away to the call of her Father's voice, a wide smile on her face.

"Yes, Father?" Thea says when she reaches him.

"Ah, there you are." Elrond says as he takes her arm. "I may need your help with Thorin Oakenshield."

"Then, I will gladly help you."

Thea walks away with her father, feeling lighter than air.
