Chapter thirty one

I ran through the woods, instead of my sword or gun I was trying something different, Plasma shards, two floating on each side of me ready to be sent flying through the air at an attacker and Fluffy tailing behind me dutifully. Slade was going to get himself killed and I wasn't going to let that happen. I know that the vows say for better or for worse but I don't think that this is what they had in mind when it came to 'worse'. When I emerged from the trees and onto the beach I saw Ivo's ship, I called out to Slade but the waves were too loud and he was too far out. I don't even want to know how he got out there in the first place, he doesn't have a boat that I know of. I created a force field above the water so that I could walk to the boat.

Once I got onto the boat I see Slade decapitate who I assume is the engineer. We make eye contact and he ran to me. The radio buzzed to life and Oliver said "Slade let the prisoners go. They did nothing wrong, please let them go. Is Andrea alright? I saw her get on the ship Slade, I know she's there." Slade turned to look at me and sighed "You do know that I would never hurt you right? Intentionally or unintentionally, I promise." I smiled at him because even though he has been through so much he is still gentle around me. Fluffy jumped into his lap and he laughed, genuine and happy. I liked it. "Andrea is just fine, I'll let the prisoner go if I can keep one of them. Unfortunately in my siege of this ship I decapitated the engineer. The ship sustained damage and I need someone to fix it." Oliver agreed to Slade's terms and I let the prisoners go except for one and when he panicked I gently shushed him and said "Everything is going to be ok, I need your help fixing the ship so that my husband and my brother can get home alright?" He slowly nodded his head and I lead him to the engine room and he got to work. I heard Slade scream and I ran up to the top deck.

Slade was fighting Oliver and I saw Sara stumble back before falling overboard. I surrounded myself in a force field and Fluffy pawed at the side so I let her in then jumped in after Sara. My little bubble sank down into the water and I looked for Sara. I heard and explosion and resurfaced, taking down my force field. I saw the boat sinking and heard another explosion, I sheilded my face and prayed Slade was alright. Some shrapnel hit my head and knocked my unconscious.

My eyes fluttered open and I felt cold. I felt something warm and wet smack my face multiple times. A thick british accent warned "Love thats a wolf, don't make any sudden moves." I laughed and rubbed Fluffy's head and smiled. The brit had blond hair and similar facial features to me. He approached me with a confused look on his face, "Do you need help up love?" He asked and I nodded my head yes. He helped my get up and we walked away from the beach I had washed up on. We found a store and he bought me a change of clothes then we went to a restaurant to get something to eat. I ordered bulgogi and rice and he got kegogi and rice. "My name is Andrea, Andrea Wilson. But my maiden name is Queen so you might recognize me by that name." I said fidgeting with my ring, Slade was gone and I was alone now, a Queen again. He handed me his businesses card, I laughed and read it out loud "John Constantine, Exorcist, Demonologist and Petty Dabbler of the dark arts. Is this for real?" He chuckled and confirmed that yes, this was for real. I had been gone for two years. He let me borrow his phone and I instantly called mom hoping she still had the same number, she picked up on the first ring and I let out a sob of pure joy. "Mom? Mom is that you? It's Andrea mom." She started crying "Oh my little girl, I thought I had lost you where are you? Are you with Oliver? Oh baby I'm so glad your alright!" I was going home.

The number on his card works if y'all wanna try it. I did last night and it was so fucking cool.
