When the doctor gave me back my clothes from the island I went through my pockets, when I felt something thin in the side pocket of my pants I pulled it out. It was the picture of Slade, the one I first took when I got to the island. The doctor wanted to keep me overnight for observation so Fluffy curled up at the foot of my hospital bed and mom's jaw fell open. The doctor tried to shoo her off the bed but she growled and put her head in my lap in protest. I pat her head and smiled. Mom slowly approached us and Fluffy looked at her as if daring her to touch me. Mom gently stroked her head and she closed her eyes in happiness. I giggled and decided to try and get some sleep. Mom and Walter went home and John stayed beside me in a chair the whole time telling me about magic and London until I fell asleep.

The next day the doctor told me I was going to be discharged at noon, John got a call about a ghoul in Chicago and had to leave so I hugged him goodbye and he left quickly. Tommy and Laurel stopped by, Tommy caught me up on all the sports and Laurel told me all the gossip. I missed my family, but my thoughts kept wandering back to Slade. I didn't know what I was going to do without him, how was I going to raise our daughter alone? Without him. I had promised him that we would make it home together and have a family, be a family. Laurel and Tommy were ecstatic that I was having a baby. Again, my thoughts wandered back to Slade. Maybe he made it to the submarine with Oliver and Anitoli. I had to have hope. When Oliver gets home Slade will be right there beside him.

I had a baby girl, I named her Shado. She looks just like Slade except she has my eyes. She adores John and she is abnormally strong, just like Slade. Her eye sight and sense of smell are overly perceptive and  has trace amounts of Mirakuru in her blood. When she cries John does magic for her and he loves playing with her. Her birthday is April 2nd 2009. Fluffy sleeps infront of her crib every time she goes to sleep or takes a nap and is always the first to check on her when she cries. Mom was a little skeptical about having a wolf in the house but finally gave in to uaving a very large guard dog, they are much bigger than you think. Picture how big you think a wolf is then times that by three. They get huge. I still wore my wedding ring and refused to date anyone. When Slade and Oliver figure out how to pilot a sub then they will be here asap. I hope. Right before I went to bed I did the same thing I did ever night. I looked at Slade's picture which I still hadn't showed anyone and went to sleep.
