Chapter forty three

When I got back to the house John and Dig were sitting in the living room with a sobbing Shado. "Honey what's wrong? Why are you home so early?" She looked up at me and then ran up to her room. "What the hell is wrong with my kid?" Both men laughed at me and I sighed exasperatedly "She got sent home cause a boy shoved her and called her a stuck up rich kid. She decked em and called em a twatsickle." John said trying to contain his laughter "She thinks you're gonna be pissed." Dig said looking towards the stairs. I laughed because honestly I couldn't be prouder. She was her father's daughter.

I went into the kitchen and got two bowls if ice cream before heading upstairs, and knocking softly on the door with my foot. Ok, I gently kicked to door cause my hands were full. If thats a problem go cry about it or something.

She slowly opened the door and when she saw me tried to shut it. "I know you can smell the ice cream super child now open the door, please." Shado cracked the door open and I handed her the bowl. She proceeded to stuff her face full of ice cream. I laughed as she finished the bowl. "Can we talk now?" She nodded and pulled the door open, I walked in and sat on the floor. "You called him a twatsickle?" She slowly nodded her head and I laughed "Do you even know what that means?" She laughed "No. I heard Uncle John call somebody one once." I laughed and ate my ice cream "I'm proud. You take after your dad." A confused look crossed her face but only for a second. "You never talk about dad, what changed. I'm not stupid so don't lie about it." God I hate it when she's right but it's so funny at the same time.

"He's alive. Thats what changed."

"You've met him. I haven't had the chance to tell you yet. I was hoping I wouldn't have to. With everything going on I didn't want you to get involved." "Who is he? When did you meet? Where is he? Does he know I'm his kid?" I laughed at her enthusiasm "We met when Ollie and I were on that island, he's in the city, and yes, he knows your his kid. That was the first thing he asked about you." Her eyes lit up "Who is he though?" I smiled "I can give you a small hint. You first thought he was a pirate." It dawned on her and she looked at me wide eyed and shock. "MR.WILSON?!?!?!?"

Oooh cliffhanger!! How will Shado take the news. Haha i know im evil for not updating but covid and school be kickin my ass. Love yall tho
