Ch. 23: Hello?

"Katniss? Is that you? Are you there?-" I say when my phone starts playing Little Things by one direction (a/n I don't really like 1D but this song is ❤)
"WHO'S F*CKING PHONE?! IN THE MIDDLE OF A SCENE!!!" My cheeks burn with embarrassment. "It's mine, but it must be an emergency! it's Jen calling and she knows not to! I have to answer!" I say hurriedly. "Fine." He says clearly annoyed.
I run over to my phone. When I answer I hear Jennifer bawling her eyes out. "Jen, Jen what is it? What's wrong?" I say. "It's Jade....she's missing..." She starts crying again. "Jen? Where are you?" "At my house..." She says.
I grab my keys in my left hand and my phone in my right and run out to the parking lot. "Josh? Where are you going?" They call after me.
I speed over to Jen's house. I know I could get fired right now but honestly I don't give a sh*t. Jade is my daughter whether people expect it or not! Jen is my queen. Jade is my princess. I will get her back. I will find her.
