A long wait before the dawn was
over,
He came to me with eyes full of light.
Swept my sorrow away from within,
And made me smile as bright.
Lovers promise themselves moon and stars
He gave me time and space.
Is it really about grand gestures after all ?
I realised that never was the case.
Putting all those pieces together, he smiled
As he made my defeated self to re form.
A heart in a billion pieces it was,
That had cried an ocean from dusk to dawn.
Guarded up, away from people, I stayed
Not even letting any light within
That lost love in my heart, decayed
That had made my life to spin
You never see it coming, its true.
It sneaks in when you foresee it the least.
To the lost love, I bid adieu
I am now the beauty to my beast.
