The Game

a game that i'm losing,
a game i wish i never played.
love is a game that left 
my heart wilted.
as much as i wish you 
would've stayed,
i knew you wasn't what 
was good for me,
and i wasn't what 
was good for you.
i let my heart go.
i took that chance,
and i gambled for your love.
now i suppress my feelings,
behind a jaded smile,
i never thought i would've 
fallen in so deep,
and end up losing this game.
