Chapter 9

Kristy's POV

Well, shit!

I wake up to the light beaming into the window sending shooting pains to my head as I squint my eyes.
"Ugh!"
Well, that was definitely not the way I had planned to end the night with Eros! I hadn't really planned anything actually, I just wanted to see where things would go but I definitely had not intended to end up drunk in bed!
"Kristy? Are you up?" I heard Emm's voice on the other side of the door reminding me of today's plans. I had to show my face again since we meeting Theo and Eros to go shopping.
"NO! Ugh!" I said louder so Emms could hear, which she did and popped herself in my room.
"Hey...what happened to you last night? Are you ok?"
"I feel like a fucking idiot Emms! I mean I had some drinks but no more than I normally can handle so what the fuck happened? All I know is I'm too embarrassed to show my face" I said, throwing the covers over my face.
"Oh don't worry about it. Eros was really worried about you though. It was super cute to see...he clearly really likes you, Kristy"
Well...maybe the whole night didn't end up being a disaster. Eros and I did kiss and it was out of this world incredible. My body erupts in butterflies just thinking about it.
"Oh my God!" hiding my face even more in the covers. "He stayed with me! I told him to stay with me last night and I fell asleep in his arms"
I threw the covers over my face entirely so Emily wouldn't see my giddy smile exploding on my face right now!
It wasn't a dream! I actually fell asleep in his arms and it was amazing. The feeling of his warm body pressed up against me. I missed falling asleep with someone cuddled up next to me. The way he ran his fingers up and down my arm caressing me until I drifted into sleep. I remember vaguely him gliding his fingers across my face and kissing my forehead before he left.
"I think someone has a crush! Let's get ready for our dates then" Emms says ripping the covers off me.
"Hey, can I borrow one of your precious rompers?" Emms asks getting off my bed and heading to my suitcase.
She's lived with me for four years so she knows my obsession with rompers but I know she hates them.
"Wait, did I just hear you right? You! Want to wear a romper!" I said with my eyes wide.
"You'll only hear this once from me! It's a romper day!" she says with a sarcastic playful tone.
"Why do you say that?"
"Theo texted me and told me not to wear any of my dresses or fancy shoes. 'Wear shorts' he said, that's all I know. So I thought rompers qualified" she said giving me a wink.
"You don't have to tell me twice"

As we come up to the edge of town to meet the guys I feel like I'm doing the walk of shame...only a different walk of shame, a 'hungover, embarrassed from what happened last night' walk of shame.
"Ugh! God, I need a coffee" I said to Emily, throwing on my sunglasses with a pain in my head from the blazing heat and bright sun.
"Hmm, I don't see them anywhere," Emms said to me looking around the center of the market until I hear her shriek.
"Ahh! Theo!" he came up behind her tickling her sides and then I got my own heart palpitations hearing a voice whisper in my ear.
"Kalimera Kristy"
I jump around holding my heart startled and find Eros behind me holding an iced coffee in his hands laughing hysterically as these guys found immense pleasure in scaring the absolute shit out of us girls.
I furrow my brows at him and hit him on his stone-hard chest to show I was totally unamused.
"Not funny! You scared me"
"Signomi...I'm sorry" He hands me the iced coffee he's holding and leans his body into mine kissing my cheek slowly before whispering in my ear again.
"Can you forgive me?"
Boy, he's playful today! I thought to myself as a wave of goosebumps rushes through my body, fully waking me up.
There it is again. It's like a force of electricity shooting through my body that is powered by him.
"Well, that's a good start" I couldn't help but smirk. I don't think I ever could be mad at Eros. He's so sweet and that smile just melts me into pieces.
"So how are you feeling?" he said sincerely, bringing the embarrassment back to the forefront of my mind.
"Ugh! I've been better! I-I'm so sorry about last night. I'm so embarrassed" I said, throwing my hands up covering my face.
"Don't be" Eros replies, peeling my hands away from my face and not letting go intertwining our hands together by our side. "Ouzo is pretty potent for people who aren't used to it. I'm just glad you're ok"
We walk a little holding hands.
"So, are you ladies ready for some shopping?" Theo says.
"YES! Where are we going?" Emms said like an excited school girl.
"Matogianni Street. It's the island's main shopping street" Eros replies.
"So hop on ladies" Theo adds, pulling our attention to two Vespas parked on the curb.
