Kristy's POV

Eros and I made our way back through the maze of dark twisting streets of Chora. By now, it was most likely after midnight or close to one in the morning. The date he planned was amazing. He is amazing. Amazing in every way.

When we made it to the steps of the hotel villa door, I leaned back against it as if to tell him I don't want to unlock the door and part ways just yet. He takes the signal and leans his body into mine and brushes his thumb over my lips gazing into my eyes hungry with lust. I break the space between us with my lips on his. There was something about him that pulled my body to him and I loved the feeling of the electrical current that ripples through my body when I was with him. I loved the taste of his lips, his tongue, his hands caressing my face and body. I just needed more of him. I needed to fill myself with him before I couldn't feel him anymore once I left Mykonos.

"Christós Kristy" he moaned against my lips. "Den boró na párete arketó apó esás"
I had no idea what he said but it didn't matter. I felt what he was saying. I felt it through his kisses, through his touch, through the force that was whirling in the air between us- drawing us closer to one another.

But just then, his phone rang which took us both by surprise considering how late it was.
When he looks down to answer, his face turns pale and he picks up right away.
"Páppa? Ti tréchai?"
I could tell something was wrong. Maybe something happened...was it the restaurant? Or his father?
"Meíne edó. Erchomai!" he said and ended the call.
"What's wrong?" I was quick to ask not even thinking maybe it wasn't my business but I felt worried for him.
"I have to go. My father fell. I'm sorry"
"Oh my God! Don't be! Do you need me to come with you?"
"No, it's ok. Thank you" he lets out a sigh and rests his forehead on mine. "It's late. Get some sleep. I'll try my best to see you tomorrow"
I could tell he didn't want to go and I didn't want him to leave either but of course, we both knew he had to. He kissed me once more. A slow, hungry, never want this to end kiss, and he was gone. Disappearing into the dark twisty road.

I couldn't sleep that night. I kept worrying about Eros, about his father who he praises with such love and admiration.
How could Eros handle so much on his plate and walk around so strong and have so much faith that everything will work out?

I went out to the balcony off my bedroom to watch the sunrise since I knew sleep wouldn't be coming for me. Looking out at the peacefulness of the sky and the silence throughout the town as no one is awake yet, I couldn't imagine going back to my life in San Francisco. A wave of sadness ran through my body at the thought. The thought of leaving. The thought of never seeing Eros again.

God that man does something to me. It's like he has more faith in me and my dreams than I do myself.
When I'm with him, I feel I push my boundaries, I push my fears aside, I push myself to be brave- to not be afraid of failure or going after what I want. I don't think I've ever felt something like that with Nicholas or anyone I've ever dated for that matter.

Eros was different, special. He saw inside my soul. He just knows me I think better than anyone knows me. I finally snapped out of my thoughts as the sun was prominently high in the sky.
Emily was awake and getting ready for the days events so I figured I should too.
"Aww, it's our last day here. I'm going out with a bang! You should too! No rompers allowed today!" She demanded pointing her finger in my face making me laugh.
"Haha, ok, if you insist" I laughed searching through my suitcase for a nice summer dress.

The tour bus takes us along the coast where Eros and I had been last night. I could already see the windmills he talked about from a distance.

"Mykonos Windmills stand on a hill at the border of Mykonos Town. It is one of the most iconic sights for tourists." Theo educates our group as we all walk up the hill getting a closer look.
"In our Mykonian history, these windmills were used to grind grain to feed the locals during the Alefkandra Era." he continues his lecture as the rest of the tour starts snapping their cameras.
