It was the morning that Hermione was going to meet Harry at the Ministry to talk about some things regarding the case that she had been helping him on. And after that she was going to meet Draco for lunch to talk about Orpheus.

A few nights before, Hermione had owled Draco that lunch would be a more suitable time to talk. And when Hermione found out that she would be meeting Harry that morning she owled Draco that they could meet at the ministry for lunch that same day.

Draco gladly agreed and sent an owl back. He was excited to see her again, but also nervous to talk about something that he had never talked about before, his son.

Draco felt strange knowing that he had a four, almost five, year old son. He didn't know how to handle the whole situation other than to just sit down and talk about it. And that's what he was going to do with Hermione.

Hermione was walking up to the door of the ministers office. The big dark oak doors, looked somewhat inviting but also made her nervous at the same time.

She knocked on the door three times, waiting for an answer on the other side.

"Come in!" She heard and she slowly opened the door, peaking her head in to make sure that she wasn't interrupting something important.

"Hermione!" Harry somewhat yelled, She smiled and waved. Harry rushed up and hugged her, she didn't see that coming but it wasn't bad. She missed her friend's hugs.

"Dear, I need to go back home and set up for the baby shower this weekend," She heard Pansy say, Harry let go of Hermione and smiled at his wife.

Pansy walked up to Harry and kissed him on the cheek. Harry did the same back. "Bye, Mione," Pansy said leaving Harry and Hermione to do their business.

"Please sit," Harry said gesturing to the chair across from his, at his big desk. Hermione nodded and sat down.

"Was I interrupting something?" Hermione asked.

"No, Pansy was just coming to tell me the guest list for the baby shower," Harry said, smiling and waving it off. He didn't want is best friend to feel uncomfortable.

"Are you excited?" Hermione asked, curiously.

"Not as excited as her. But if she's happy then so am I," Harry said, gazing at the door like he was staring at a beautiful women. Hermione smiled, knowing that her best friend was in love, deeply. "Speaking of," Harry started, "You and Orpheus are invited,"

Hermione didn't know what to say. She smiled, "I'll have to think about it," She said.

Harry smiled, "Wonderful, but we should really get going on this," He said pointing to the case file on the top of his desk. Hermione nodded. "So I took your advise, and all I found was my assistant leaving late because she was doing my late work," Harry said, feeling sort of guilty about making his assistant do so much work.

"Harry, maybe you're looking too into this," Hermione suggested. She felt mean by saying it, because it was like calling her best friend insane.

"No," Harry said, shaking his head. "Am I?" Harry asked again, thinking about it some more, looking to his best friend for the answer.

"I mean, it could be a possibility. You have been doing this since you were little and maybe it's just something that's stuck with you," Hermione said, not really knowing what to say. She's started thinking about it too.

Her Harry and Ron had been chasing Voldemort since they were small, and that's all they knew for some time. Hermione got over it pretty quickly because she left the wizarding world for her son. But she is just realizing that Harry and Ron haven't left. This is their life.
