Hermione woke up with a start. Orpheus was laughing and jumping on the bed. She always scolded him for jumping on the bed but today she was in a good mood. She didn't know if it was because of the kiss that her and Draco had shared the night before, or if it was because she got a good nights sleep.
Hermione grabbed her son while he was in the air and started tickling him. Hermione and Orpheus were laughing and having fun when they heard a loud knock at the door.
Hermione put her son down and ran down the steps. The knocks were getting louder and faster, it must have been very important. When she opened the door all she saw was a head of raven colored hair rush into her home.
"Harry?" She said, grabbing Orpheus hand and pulling him towards her.
Harry was standing by the steps trying to catch his breath. Hermione stepped towards Harry but she stopped at Harry putting his hand up for her to not come any closer.
"Hermione, I figured it out," Harry said, Hermione looked at him confused. "Death eaters, they are using poly-juice potion," He finished.
Hermione looked at Orpheus who was looking up at his mother already. Harry finally saw the little boy and started to panic a little bit. Hermione sent him back up stairs to get ready for the day.
"I am so sorry, Mione. I swear I didn't see him," Harry said.
"It's okay Harry, really," Hermione said, making her friend feel better. "Now tell me how you figured this out?"
"It's simple, my assistant has been logging my every move for a year," Harry said, Hermione was still confused. "Mione, she's a death-eater,"
"How do you know she's one?" Hermione asked.
"Because I found a flask in her desk, and I thought it was so weird that she had a flask in her desk, so I smelled it. It smelled of poly-juice potion," Harry said.
"Okay, so what do we do now?" Hermione asked not knowing what else to say.
"We follow her, or whoever. See who they really are and follow them to the source. See how many there are and what their doing," Harry suggested.
"And how do you expect to do that with out getting caught," Hermione asked.
"I don't know, but I was hoping that you would come with. I need your brains," Harry said, making Hermione give him a crazy look.
"Are you mad, Harry?" She asked. "I can't go with you, I have Orpheus. Plus, I don't even know if I have the brains for the wizarding world anymore," Hermione said, a little disappointed at the end.
"You have Draco, I'm sure he wouldn't mind watching him for a night," Harry said, talking about Orpheus.
"A night?!" Hermione widened her eyes, "And when do you expect to do this?"
"I don't know," Harry said, making Hermione scoff.
"Making me do all the hard work, just like in school?" She said, making Harry laugh.
Hermione thought for a while. She didn't know if she was comfort enough to leave Orpheus for a night. They hadn't been apart since he was born.
"Fine," She finally said, making Harry look at her. "I'll talk to Draco,"
"Thank you Hermione," Harry said.
Hermione smiled. "I'm supposed to be going with Draco and Orpheus to the Malfoy Manor so Orpheus can meet his Grandmother sometimes soon, so I will ask him then,"
"And how do you feel about that?" Harry asked, concerned.
"What ever do you mean by that? I am fine with it, Orpheus needs to know who his family is, and I owe this to Draco," Hermione said.
