Chapter 1

In a world as dark and ever changing as this, there would be no acceptance to the divergence of a mere 900 Enlightened ones. Seeing as you do not know who these few are, or what their skills can bring about, we should start from the very beginning to explain the nature of how they came into existence.

A very long time ago, a recorded list of events had been formed; the list was captured on the 1st day of the creation of the 3rd planet of the moon. A small hidden society of monks had recognized the 57th entry on that list as the main alteration to the existence of their planet.

Seeing as the list had only 63 entries, we could deduct that this event could potentially alter the ending of all time. Apocalyptic thinking would not however be considered in a place such as this, seeing as it was prohibited to even begin to imagine such things. You might ask how would it be possible to even begin to understand what someone was thinking? Well everyone could see what you were thinking and imagining as it all formed part of the very present socially shared consciousness.

Apart from the Eidetics and their guardian monks, this world was full of many tribes people that we will encounter throughout our story.

When we consider even on our own world, we know there are always minority groups that are very unique to the general populous. Another separation that is not unique to our own world is the use of territorial languages.

Eidetics are in appearance human looking, but more beautiful and gracious. Their faces are serene with long, straight noses, slender lips, large eyes and thin eyebrows. Their beauty is not only found on the outside but in their way of being. While they are tall they walk graciously and almost in unison, their movements are slow and precise. As in many societies there are defined hierarchies of leadership and privilege.

Eidetic royalty wear long-sleeved coats, which hide their beautiful, long, thin fingers covered in golden embroidered encasings. These strange signatures embroidered on their hand gloves represent their family crests, virtues and skill sets.

Eidetic royalty, irrespective of tribe, have long, white hair and when the moonlight caresses their skin and hair, they become enveloped in a blue light. It is believed that the bluer the light, the more competent the individual.

The descendants of the early fathers split due to varying opinions of whom to worship and what element to nurture. In Entiresia, no single tribe tended to more than one element.

While the elder Eidetic families carried the general genetic traits, the current tribe leadership has formed its own phenotypic features. Not having the ability to contain marriage within the inner royal family, the tribe leaders have married subservient wives or husbands within their tribes and produced non-pure children.

Many now believe that the Eidetics were originally not of this planet, but had merely founded it suitable and occupied it through colonisation. These were times for which scribe teaching had never been available.

A pact binds all tribe Kings and Queens, who respect one another and ensure the peace. Every hundred cycles this pact is renewed at The Pit of doom, the ritual reminds all of the chaos that could exist and the fear of disobedience ensures that all remain loyal.

Like many societies, Eidetics believe in reincarnation and those special individuals have a very particular name, "SoverI". They are so called due to their sovereign monarchical decent from the protective spirit and thus cannot be raised by their birthmothers. All SoverI have a purpose to reach their peak glow at an old age, although a very rare few are born wise. Therefore, such children are taken away and handed over to the founding fathers of Entiresia. The monastery of the founding fathers cannot be accessed by anyone or anything that does not bear the mark of the eagled seal. The SoverI are born with this seal and it is clearly visible on the back part of their long graceful necks. When the SoverI stand in the moonlight, a strong light surrounds their heads and it looks as if they have empirical collars. The eagle is believed to bring spiritual protection, strength, healing, and the creation and knowledge of magic. The eagle has the ability to see the overall pattern and connections of all people and their spirit guides or teachers. In all scriptures, drawings depict the eagle gliding through the mind (air) from the higher nature (heavens) to the lower nature (earth) and soar aloft to the self (the sun). It connects all the elements together and forms the full body of knowledge about the all.
