Sometimes things don't seem right, sometimes people don't see things they shouldn't do, and sometimes, thoughts make people act in the strangest of ways. Man was designed to sustain and nurture all and everything, even his own mind. The curiosity of man brings about his spontaneity, excitement and also potentially his endangerment. Well, definitely Aden was one of those men; he enjoyed thoroughly all unpredictable activities and would take part in any opportunity that arose of such nature. Not so curiously, his father hated experiencing unplanned events.

Aris, now seeking consolidation, called Edan over for a brief discussion about his son. Edan, feeling obligated to his King, felt that if he was asked any questions at all, he would be forced to answer truthfully.

"Edan, you were more to my son than just a servant, that much I know. I am aware that unlike my son, you are of weaker character and this is also due to your rank and position, which I will not hold against you. I do understand your position and obedience with regards to my son's wishes and so grant you absolution, however I do require you to tell me of my son's character. It seems to me that I have pushed him further and further away from what he should become and thus he has turned into someone quite the opposite. I feel I can confide in you, as I see the strong bond you have shared with him and believe you of all people should know better. I just want to know where his anger comes from, towards me, towards his people and towards everything we stand for. He has been only protective of you; I have seen this, throughout his whole life he took you under his wing."

"My King, you are just and wise. I see you mean well and I know not how to begin, for I feel the right thing is to share all the knowledge that I have about your son, with you. There was many a time that I did not agree with him on certain matters and as you say, I am weak, I thus did not force or express opinion. I feel I am also to blame for the contribution towards our princes' actions. He was free to think and do what he wanted, however he wanted something so different from everyone else that one begins to wonder if what he is and has become is actually a bad thing? Do you not sometimes question why he was born to us a second SoverI, bearing the mark of the eagle? This has never before happened in any tribe and there may be a specific reason for his powers and existence, beyond what we know or choose to believe is right. Sire, your son is a good man who did not hate you and I understand how much grief this has caused you to open up to me in this way, but you cannot blame yourself. Aden is special and he always knew it, he believed he was destined for something great. He told me in the end that he would return to his kingdom, but after he had fulfilled his mission and his purpose. He only holds anger towards his confinement and wished only to be free. I do not know what they do to the SoverI in Entiresia, but Aden was left without that knowledge that he so requires. He is more studied than any royal Eidetic that ever was, no offence to you Sire!"

"Are you saying that I made the wrong decision by holding him back, boy?"

"Sire, I apologise for giving my opinion, which I am probably not entitled to have, but you have asked me to be open and honest and to tell you all. This is all I have done."

After a long pause and just as Edan was about to slip out of the tent, Aris responded "Yes, perhaps you are right in some way. I couldn't bare giving him up, I had just lost his mother. He was my only son!" Aris bowed his head deep into his hands; sitting there he looked like a heavy bear perched on a wooden stool in his large, royal red tent. You could not help but feel sorry for this courageous father and dedicated leader of the people of Apirite.

Edan let go of the door to the tent and return to place his hand on Aris. "I promise you, everything will turn out the way it has to. Be sure if you wish to continue this journey, but I believe we will not get him back. He will not stop until he has finished what he has set out to do and perhaps your biggest challenge in life and final learning stone is to learn to let him do just that which he needs to."
