Aden, the son of his powerful lordship Aris of the Apiritian tribe, whose dedication was set in the preservation of the eternal fire, was fanatical about two elements he believed belonged together. He believed that air and fire were not meant to be looked at apart, however all monarchs warned him that this thinking was destructive and unethical.
A combination of those elements would bring about uncontrollable conditions and the earth would split into 7 pieces, or so legend goes. No element was to be mistaken for another and the appreciation of all elements would be celebrated in isolation; Eidetics did not believe in mixed feelings as this represented uncertainty.
Aden's teachers assumed that with time the child's thinking patterns would change, they were confident in the his wisdom and ignored the boy's stubborn actions. Their ignorance led to the exclusion of strict Eidetic policies when it came to matters concerning the boy; it is as if he, Aden, had strong influence over their actions.
Every prince was assigned a teacher from each tribe and taught to be accepting of the rituals of all tribes and about the importance for the preservation of all elements. In this way, the merged wisdom of all tribes would form the prince's character to not feel hatred towards another tribe and there would be no eruption of war. Each element was and is a fundamental pillar to the existence of all tribe and so all leaders followed the same learning pattern, which had been perfected over the Suncycles.
Aden would soon take his place in becoming the sovereign leader of his people, the Apiritians, a role he would gradually fall into. His father, Aris, had many difficulties in the beginning of Aden's life, seeing as Aden was no ordinary child. Aden had a strong blue glow that only old men possess, a glow even as strong as his father's. Aden also bore the seal of the eagle on his slender neck, which meant Aden was a SoverI.
On its own this would not be regarded as strange, as there were kids taken previously from their kingly heritage to be trained at the monastery of the founding fathers, but Aden was the second child born to the Apiritian tribe bearing the SoverI seal. Aden was born on the 1st day of the 10th cycle when the 3rd planet of the moon glowed a bright blue, as if it were the sun.
It had never come to pass that more than one child would be born with the gift of wisdom within the same tribe in the same cyclical period. As Aden was the only son born to his father, his father wanted dearly to pass over the duties of the kingdom to him. The decision had to be made as to whether Aden would remain with his people and rule, or join the SoverI at the monastery of the founding fathers.
A tribunal was established to determine who would be the next SoverI of the Apiritian tribe. It is the greatest honour for your child to be granted the title of SoverI, but having lost his wife, Aris did not wish to give up his only son and leave the kingdom without an heir to the throne.
The tribunal consisted of the 7 tribe overlords and the head monk of Entiresia. They all had to come to a unanimous agreement in the selection of the SoverI.
Aris was given permission to express his opinion, seeing as he was one of the lords, although he had influence over the others. It was, after many discussions, decided that Aden would remain with his people to become King and that only one of the two children would return with the head monk to the sacred monastery. We will never to this day know how Aris swayed the decision in his favour. Some believe that it was due to all having sympathy of his situation that swayed the council.
Aden was a cheerful and energetic boy, who was taught to read and write in a sovereign manner. Some of the monks believed he deserved some SoverI training and thus provided him with lectures about the history of the earth and understanding of the flow of thought. In his coming of age, Aden was given more responsible tasks, like renewing his family crest and addressing people's concerns at the general weekly meetings.
