This is a story idea about the world of the living and the world of the dead.
In this story, the character is a person who can thin the veil between the living and the dead.
So, the character can thin the veil into a veil that is see-through that allows the world of the living to see the world of the dead (ghosts).
Not everyone who dies becomes a ghost.
Of course, when the veil between worlds becomes see-through, for some reason, it causes the ghost to lash out and attack humans (physical attacks – but can't harm the living).
The world of the living is the real world and the world of the dead is a mirror image of our world but dilapidated and torn down.
No one knows why some people who die don't become ghosts or where they go not even the main character.
We can see the dead world but not interact.
