"Ms. Cho Miyeon. You're the last one. Please come up on stage." A woman wearing a pair of glasses, announced over the microphone.

Seo Ho-oppa was sitting behind a long table, along with his fellow instructors. The school director was also here to watch, as well as the school president.

"It it stated at your form that you're from YG University before enrolling to a vocal academy. And now, you're a late transferee here at our university, can you tell us why is that?" The woman with the glasses asked again, I'm assuming she's the secretary or something.

Why am I getting interviewed? All the students before me did just what we came here for, to perform. I looked around to search for the girls, they are huddled in one place, sitting on the floor. Yuqi and Minnie waved at me when our eyes met. Almost all of the audiences from earlier were gone now, only a few was left either standing or sitting on the floor.

"Don't worry, this has got nothing to do with anything, we're just genuinely curious." The president assured me with a smile.

"W-Well, the president back in YGU told me I was to debut last year, under the name of PinkPunk, along with eight other girls, but the date of the debut kept on getting pushed back until four of the girls left the group.."

The director grabbed her mic, "So, I'm assuming your group that was used to be nine became five, so Mr. Yang, the president and a dear friend of mine, by the way, decided not to debut PinkPunk, instead he debuted BlackPink?"

"Actually, PinkPunk used to be the name of BlackPink, Ma'am. I was supposed to debut as a member, but I guess compared to the four members, I was still lacking in terms of skills. In the middle of the first semester, last year, they told us the final line-up, and yeah, the rest was just like what was written in my form."

"And why did you choose CUBE?" The president asked me, smiling widely, eyebrows raised.

Honestly, what would they get from this interview? The satisfaction of hearing my answer for choosing this school over YGU?

I guess that's a big deal for them since YGU's one of the top three universities in South Korea.

"I promised myself that enrolling here would be my last, Sir. If, at the end, I won't still be able to debut as an idol, then I would stop. I'll try other fields. Other jobs. Not related to music, definitely."

"I see. So any university would do, you didn't specifically choose CUBE because you wanted to." I can feel the disappointment in his voice.

"Oh, no, no.. I think it's fate that have brought me here. The school was great, and the name itself was famous already. Even though this is not my first choice, I'm honored that CUBE would be my last."

That answer seemed to satisfy the president.

"Shall we start then, Mr. President? Ms. Cho?" The president nodded at the secretary, I went to the side of the stage to give the backtrack to a fellow student assigned of playing the music.

Seo Ho-oppa smiled and gave me a discreet thumbs-up. I inhaled deeply, this is it.

*A one-time only, Soojin's PoV*

Miyeon-unnie seems to be really nervous up on the stage. She kept on breathing heavily and slowly. I noticed that she changed her clothes as well? That's a shame, the clothes that Miyeon-unnie burrowed from Minnie-unnie suits her better than this hip-hop style she's changed back into.
