We went straight to the building of Performing Arts where the three older girls, Minnie, Soojin, and Soyeon went to their respective majors, while I have to stick with Yuqi and Shuhua who undergo the general classes which include the basics of the four: Vocal, dance, rap, and acting major.

"Don't worry, it's only for a day," the registrar reassured me.

As we're walking along the hallway, I can't help but to glance on Shuhua who was walking while using her phone. Does she know how risky it is to do that? She might trip or bump to a wall.

"Shuhua-ya, don't you think it's quite dangerous to use your phone while walking?"

Yuqi who is ahead of us, stopped for a moment to look back, "Ah.. Unnie, you can't stop that girl from doing whatever she wants. That one's so stubborn!"

I glanced at Yuqi but look back to Shuhua, "But it's really dangerous, Shuhua-ya."

"Mind your own business, unnie. Please." I was shocked and speechless with Shuhua's reply that I didn't notice I stopped walking. Shuhua went ahead of me, while Yuqi stayed back for me to catch up.

"See, unnie? She's so stubborn. Only Soojin-unnie can stop her." Yuqi hooked her arm in mine and drags me along.

"Is she always like that?"

"Like what?"

"Rude."

"Shuhua? No, no, not really. She's still learning Hangeul, unnie, so she's struggling to express her thoughts. Please bear with her." Yuqi smiles at me, I just nod at her and look ahead to where Shuhua is.

I didn't mention to Yuqi the difference between how Shuhua acts around me and them, maybe I'm just misinterpreting her actions, but I don't want to make the issue bigger so I just kept quiet.

We sat together inside a dance studio waiting for the instructor to come. I was in between the two, and despite Yuqi's loud voice, I could feel the attention of the other students in me. What do I expect? I'm the new girl.

They are all around the same age as my two youngest dorm mates, and I'm just here because I don't have my major yet.

Yuqi is a real social butterfly, she greeted everyone in the room when we enter, and talks to almost anyone who comes near her. Shuhua was still on her phone playing games and not really caring about her surroundings, while I was just quietly sitting there, feeling shy and awkward, greeting everyone that greets me.

I was again, wearing something cool this time around. With my black cap, sleeveless crop-top, a black shorts over a pair of net stockings, boots, and a red flannel tied around my waist. Ugh. I hate that this is my go-to clothes whenever I want to leave an impression on people. Talking about turning a new page in my life.

When the school bell rang signaling the start of the class, the other students started stretching, including the two beside me. I stood up from my seat not really knowing what to do because this is not my class to begin with.

A female instructor came in. I could feel her strong aura from where I was standing in the back. The students greeted her and she didn't even smile one bit. She looked at each student, from head-to-toe until her eyes landed on mine.

"You at the back, are you new?" She asked me with her strict and intimidating voice. My heart is pounding so fast and my throat went dry, I can't form a proper sentence because my mind went blank and my stomach is churning.

"Ahm.. Teacher.. She's a transferee, a senior student." Yuqi raised her hand to speak and the attention of everyone went to her, I managed to release a sigh of relief, "She's just tagging along with us for the day."

"And what school are you from?" The instructor once again asked me. I looked at Yuqi for support and she nods at me, encouraging me to answer.

"Y-YG University, Ma'am."

I heard murmurs and whispers of wonder coming from the students.

"YGU? Then why did you transfer? It's already a good university, one of the top three university in Korea, I dared say." She sits at her chair in front and crossed her arms and legs, waiting for me to answer.

Yuqi and Shuhua exchanged a look. They know about one of my reasons because I willingly told them, but I'm not ready to share it in front of this instructor whom I don't even know, nor with this class full of strangers.

"I-It's quite personal, Ma'am, sorry."

The instructor seems to get the hint that I don't want to talk about my past and she nods.

"Alright then, since I'm sure you have dance classes in YGU, come and help me here. Bring a chair." She told me and so I comply.

The instructor gave me a clipboard where the name of the students are written. Two columns, for the girls and the boys.

"Marked the names I'm gonna mention, write a check beside the names as many times as I say. Understand?" She raised an eyebrow at me and I gulped.

Although I don't really get how this has got to do with my experience in a dance class, I just nod vigorously.

I sat next to the instructor just close enough to hear her despite the music.

Yuqi smiles widely at me and tries to communicate with me without saying a word, she's just pointing at herself, mouthing something, and then winking at me, which I totally don't understand. Shuhua elbows her to stop whatever actions she's doing before the instructor could caught her.

"Hopefully, you guys have been practicing during the weekends, 'cause I will be watching each of you closely. Understand?"

Everyone answered yes, Yuqi's voice obviously standing out, and another one I didn't catch to whom belongs. A high pitch kind of voice that suddenly reminded me of those times Shuhua would yell at Yuqi. I looked at her and laughed internally seeing how serious and determined she looks right now, while being a complete kid inside the dorm.

She's too cute, I just want to hug her.
