Part X

After dinner, the girls took turn in showering for bed. We have two bathrooms, and they did it by age so the older ones helped me and Mom to clean up, while Yuqi and Shuhua bathe.

"Minnie, dear. Are you an only child?"

"No, Ma'am. I have twin older brothers back in Thailand with my parents."

"You don't have any sisters?"

"I don't have them before... but I do now..! Exclusively only in Korea, though." Minnie laughed, her usual laugh with her eyes disappearing, "But at least, I have five of them."

"Omo.. What are you eating these days Minnie-unnie, you're getting sweeter everyday?" Soojin teased.

Soyeon was placing the dried-up plates back in the cabinet, "Maybe it's Miyeon-unnie's effect? Ever since they started hanging out together, Kim Minnie's getting softer each day."

I blushed.

"W-What are you guys talking about? I'm always this sweet to you." Minnie stuttered denying it, is she.. blushing too?

"When? As far as I remember, you hate cringe-y stuff, Minnie-unnie." Soojin said after washing up the final plate.

"Yah! Aren't you describing yourself, Seo Soojin?!"

"Ah.. Ladies, if you could please tone it down a little, Miyeon's father and I are going to retire to bed now. You girls could stay at the two guests rooms, it's up to you to decide who gets which room." Mom looked around the kitchen, "I think we're done here, thank you for helping us clean-up, my dears, it was really lovely to meet you all. I'll see you girls in the morning, okay?"

The four of us said our good nights, and Mom left us to sleep in her and Dad's shared room. At the same time, Shuhua came out of the bathroom dressed in a loose pajamas. She only took a few minutes inside? Whenever she showers back in the dorm, she's always the fastest one to finish as well.  Yuqi was still at the bathroom so I told the girls I'll gave them a house tour.

Our house is an average size, considered average at least here in Incheon. But, comparing this to some rural areas, I think it would pass off as huge.

"And so, here are the two rooms. You guys can go and check which one you prefer." The four went ahead the first room, excited to see what's inside, and I followed them, "I mean, it's not that big, maybe two people max per room. So, one of you have to share my room with me."

"I'll do it!" Minnie raised her hand. Smiling so widely, I'm starting to worry about her cheeks.

"Okay, roommates!" We gave each other a high-five. At the very first day, I worry about a lot whether I could be friends with these girls, but I never doubted that Minnie and I could be close friends.

"Yuqi and I can share this room, Soojin and Shuhua could have the other." Soyeon said.

Shuhua seems excited, while Soojin acted like she hates it. Really, this two.

I saw Soojin smiles when Shuhua enters the other room and left us here in the hallway.

We continued our tour without Shuhua, and still no Yuqi, with Soyeon and Minnie leading.

"Yah. Soojin-ah, do you really hate it when Shuhua shows affection?" I asked in a low voice.

"Huh? Oh, that.. It's not that I hate it, it's just.. She's so cute that I always want to tease her."

I agree with that. Everything Shuhua does is so cute without her even trying. If you still can't figure it out, I like cute stuffs.
