I like this chapter! It's really focused on the kids for the most part. They're really whole adults. That's crazy.
Enjoy the chapter and excuse any mistakes.
Lena's POV
"Have you told your parents about us?" Nathan asked me while I laid on his chest.
"Lela is the only one who knows."
"Who?"
I giggled. "The girl who looks like me at school. She's my sister."
"Oh yeah. Her. I still find it hard to believe you have a twin. You two are so different. No offense but your sister is lame."
"None taken. I agree. She's not like that at home though. Maybe she's shy." I shrugged.
I sat up and stretched about to get out of his bed. "Where are you going? It's only 2:30."
"I have to get back to school before the bell. My dad will kill me if he found out I skipped. Especially it being the fourth time this week."
"Hey but it was worth it wasn't it?" He sat up and winked.
My cheeks heated up and I started to get dress. Nate and I come to his house as soon as I'm dropped off in the mornings. We'll get high off of whatever he has and then have sex.
Sometimes after school we'll do it too. My dad thinks I'm at cheerleading practice most of the time when I'm actually with Nathan. It's not like he pays attention so why not.
I know what I'm doing. I won't be getting pregnant anytime soon and if I do I'll just get an abortion so don't nag me about my choices. I'm old enough to know. I'm basically grown.
Nathan got me to school in time and I kept my shades on my face. We took an edible today so I'm still high. Do I think my dad will care? Probably not.
I saw his car pull up and I walked over to it. I opened the door and got in without really assessing who was in the car.
"Take them damn glasses off." I heard my mom's voice and I rolled my eyes while kissing my teeth. Her hand smacked the shit out of my lip and I looked at her shocked while covering my mouth. "I will fuck you up in front of all these damn people."
"Where's da-"
"Not here obviously. You getting beside yourself so I need to help you get in line. I allowed you to stay with your dad but you're behavior is showing he's not capable of the task so you'll be living with me."
"I'm not-" she raised a closed fist and my mouth closed.
"Please get smart so I can sock you right now. Please do it." I remained quiet. "Just as I thought. Don't tell me what you not going to do."
This is so unfair. I'm almost 18 years old and she still treats me like a child. Well in 3 years and some change but that's besides the point. I don't act like a child either so don't say it.
"So who was that boy that dropped you off?" She asked and my heart dropped. Fuck.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I looked out the window. It's so hot. I rolled the window down and she rolled it back up.
"Roll it back down if you want to. Why are you so hot?"
I couldn't answer. It felt like my body was about to give out. Like I was about to pass out. Thankfully I did so I can avoid this conversation.

My eyes adjusted to the bright lights and beeping sound. I'm in the hospital. At least I'm alive.
