"MawMaw! Tell Lela to get out of my room!" I yelled towards the door.

"Get in here girl!" She yelled to Lela.

"Tattletale." She squinted her eyes at me. I got up like I was about to get her and she ran out of the room.

"I regret asking for younger siblings now that I'm older." I said to Ella while rolling my eyes. She's so damn annoying.

"Being an only child has its perks." She replied. Years ago the lady that carried her for nine months was pregnant and she had the baby but he unfortunately died a couple weeks later.

"I bet. So about this party tonight....you going with me?"

"Who all gone be there?" She looked over at me.

"Just some old friends I grew up with. They're throwing me a house party before I leave."

"I mean if you want me to go then I will."

"I do. Now I just gotta figure out how imma get out of here and go."

"It's a no go for your grandmother?"

"She already told you she was your grandmother too." I chuckled. "But yeah. She don't like us out past a certain time."

"Oof. Well what kind of idea did you have in mind?"

I thought for a second. "Ace!" I yelled.

"Stop yelling in my damn house!" PawPaw yelled back.

"Sor-" I was about to yell back but decided against it.

"What is it?" Kaiden stood at the entrance of my door.

"Come in my favorite little brother." I patted the spot beside me.

"I'm your only brother." He sat down. "What do you want?"

"What are you doing tonight?"

"I'll probably play the game and talk to Rena. Why?"

"Are y'all serious?" I inquired. They're only thirteen.

"No. We're friends."

"So that wasn't a date you were on the other day?"

"Noo." He groaned. "I wish you stop saying that. We just went to get some ice cream."

"Okayy..whatever you say."

"What do you want?" I could sense he was getting irritated so I needed to reel him back in.

"How would you like to help your favorite sister out?"

"You are far from my favorite sister." He said with a straight face.

I pinched him and mushed his head. "You're so rude."

"Ow!" He slapped my arm. "Now you can forget about me helping you." He stood up and walked out.

"Whatever!" I yelled and regretted.

"What the hell did I say Kairi?!" Pops yelled and came down the hall to my room. "Be quiet."

"I'm sorry Pops. It was an accident." He kept his eyes on me with a scowl and closed the door behind him. "Yeah I probably should have been shut the door." I said to myself. "Ugh! What are we going to do?"

"Sneak out?"

"I ain't never tried that here." I looked over at her. "But it might work."

"You do it at home?"
