Dave's POV
The amount of noise going on in our house right now is out of this world. Lena is crying, the tv is way too loud, Ace is mackin on the phone, and Faith is yelling at everybody.
We're trying to finish packing for their spring break trip. I decided everyone needed some relaxation so we're going to Bora Bora for the week. Faith thought that was a little extreme for just a spring break vacation since we tend to save those kinds of trips for their summer break, so they're longer, but I think we all need this break.
Faith has been busting her ass at the new label she works at, her stores, the kids, and our relationship. She's tired, but she's been pushing it to the max. All of our kids are doing great in school. Even my bad ass son got his shit together and he's bringing all his grades up. Me, I'm barely home lately because I'm running around working all the time. We all just- this trip is well deserved.
"Dave can you please turn down the tv?" Faith sighed as she parted Lena's hair. I turned it down and looked at Lela trying to console her sister. "Stop touching her and go do what I told you to do, Lela. I'm not going to say it again. Keep on and we're stopping in New York to drop you off with your grandparents. You won't be going on no trip."
"Why don't you use another product? You're hurting her." I suggested after Lela ran off to their room.
"I'm not hurting her. She's just being dramatic and she's not leaving the house behind me with her head looking a mess. She'll be alright." She said and wrapped her legs around Lena to keep her in place since she was squirming around.
Lena continued to cry and I went to sit beside her. "I know, baby. Mommy is so rough, but she wants you to look pretty for our trip." I wiped her face and she tried to get in my arms, but her mother wasn't having it.
"Stop Lena." Faith popped her hand with the comb and Lena lost her mind. "Get out of here, Dave. Y'all keep babying her which is prolonging our process." She snapped at me and to keep the peace I hurried my ass out of the living room to makes sure everyone else was packed up and ready to go.
This is an every time Faith does their hair thing. The twins' hair is extremely thick and kinky, so touching or parting it always makes them cry. Faith says they're only crying because she is doing her hair in general, not because she's hurting them, but I don't think that's the case. My babies wouldn't cry just to cry.
I decided to go mess with Ace and make sure he was all packed. "Yerr. You all packed?" I knocked on his door and walked in which shocked him. "The fuck were you doing?"
"Uh nothin pops. Nothin." He pulled his pants up, quickly. I know this nigga wasn't doing what I think he was doing. "Imma hit you up later." He said lowly into his phone then hung up.
"No you won't. Give me your phone." I shook my head and extended my hand. He done lost his damn mind.
"I wasn't doing nothin though."
"Give it here before I punch you in yo chest and then tell ya momma." He reluctantly gave it to me. "What were you doing? You showing girls ya dick now?" He didn't say anything and continued to look at me. "Aight let me go tell, Faith."
"No! Please don't dad. Please?" He walked up to me and pleaded.
"First of all. Don't touch me." I shrugged his hand off of me. I don't know what he was doing with them nasty ass hands. "Stop being so grown, Kaiden. You're twelve fucking years old. Start acting like it. I find out you doing some dumb shit like that again, you and I gone have a problem."
