4 : HOLI?!

third person pov:

it was 3 in the night and everyone except manik was sitting near the pool side discussing some plan in hushed tones so that manik doesn't wake up when , cabir near about shouted,
"yes! yes! yes! I got it!" and twirled in happiness but what happened next made everyone burst into fits of laughter.

cabir fell in the pool.

mukti on getting the opportunity had pushed cabir into the water.
"what the heck guys! Kya lady hulk . why did you push me." Cabir panted while balancing himself in the pool.
"tu chillaya kyu? Bola tha dheeme baat kariyo. But tu sunta kahan hai. Manik uth jaata toh." Mukti reverted back at him with a glare.

"toh tu iske liye meri jaan ko khatre mei daal degi? Dekh li teri dosti." Cabir said wailing in a dramatic way while the others just rolled their eyes at his drama when there was a sudden splash and boom.
Mukti and navya were in the water. Courtesy of dhruv , who further pushed alya who dragged nandini and who in turn pulled dhruv along with her.

they were splashing water,toppling each other into the pool laughing out loudly when they heard footsteps approaching them.

"guys.itni raat ko pool mei kya kar rahe ho tumlog? Wo bhi pure kapde pehenkar?" a very sleepy looking manik asked standing near the edge of the pool rubbing his eyes.

"aa...wo...wo actually ....hm.....wo" dhruv started but cabir cut him off saying, "hum wo ho..holi khel rahe the.haha. surprise."

manik made an incredulous face at him and nandini and dhruv face palmed while the rest of them just sank below water not able to control their laughter.

"really cabir? Holi? Without colors? Look I may have bricks for brains but itna stupid to mai bhi nahi hu." Manik said in a disbelieving tone sitting by the pool .

"mere bina party kar rahe the?" manik asked in a small voice looking at the half empty beer bottles and left over food lying around.

while the others facepalmed again.
they knew manik was very insecure about himself. As he didn't drink alcohol or smoke like the rest of the guys of his age.
he didn't even speak to anybody barring his friend cum family.

they knew that he was still a baby at heart whose happiness lied not in bar clubs or parties but in game zones , ice cream treats and comfortable movie nights.

His happiness did not lie in flirting with random girls but loving the same girl since he was seven years of age.

His happiness lied not in one night stands but sleeping cuddled in the arms of his love.

although they never forced him to drink or do anything for that matter he still felt that somewhere he was a spoil sport.
"manik. yeh cabir na pagal hai. Issi ne hum sbko pool mei gira diya." Navya tried to explain while others just stood there.

"haan manik hum tere bina party kaise kar skte hain. Aur khabardaar jo khudko spoil sport ya kuch bhi bola toh.hm sb bs yuhi kuch kaam ki baatein kr rahe the.tujhe nahi jagaya because tu so raha tha." Mukti added.

manik just nodded slowly and got up to leave when his feet slipped and he fell in the water.
he flapped his hands and feet to come to the surface when 2 hands helped him.
"Manik!!" echoed in the whole house.
"tu theek toh hai?" Cabir burst out immediately.

Seeing manik standing in the water near the edge breathing rapidly.and nandini patting his back trying to soothe him.
"I'm okay cabir bhai,"Manik smiled at him.
"Bacha thik ho aap?" Nandini asked him worriedly and he immediately nodded making everyone chuckle.

"chalo ab nikalte hai.warna sabko zukhaam ho jaayega fir kal dard k maare sar pakad kar baithna saare ." Navya advised and started towards the stairs leading out of the water when manik whined. All turned to look at him.

"thodi der ruko na. mai toh abhi aaya hu." Manik pleaded giving his best puppy dog look to everyone while they sighed.

no one.absolutely no one could resist his pleading face and he knew it.
surrendering they all gave in to his cute plea and stayed back.

They played in the water until 4 in the morning.
and then decided to get changed and catch some much needed sleep.

nandini and manik went to nandini's room.
nandini: manik you go take a shower.tab tak I'll take out your clothes okay?
manik nodded and went to take shower while nandini took out a pair of tee and shorts for him to wear.

After a while:

manik(cutely): jaan ! suno na! main a wo um wo towel laana bhul gya hu . pass me the towel na.please!
nandini being the naughty one smirked and said

"arey bhul gye to khud aake le lo na bed par hi rakha hai"
manik(blushing): nandu yaar mai aise kaise aa.....skta hu

nandini(smirking ): kyu?....Oooo achaaa! Now I get it! Come on baby I've seen you like that haven't i? remember our confessionnnn night?"

Manik(blushing maroon): jaan shhh! Acha mai aa raha hu but u..u close your eyes.
nandini (naughtily):sure sure,.

Manik came out of the washroom stark naked and rushed towards the towel kept on the bed.

He hastily wrapped the towel around his waist and was going to tuck it in when two hands sneaked from behind him and held his hand over the knot of his towel.

Manik's breath got hitched as nandini's nimble fingers trailed along his V line.
She slowly Pressed her lips to his back kissing him.her hot breath fanning his damp skin .

Manik closed his eyes feeling her soft lips on his back
And his breathing became quick.
