Maybe it was never her, maybe it was actually you.

It's been a week since you and Makoto have seen each other. You felt so embarrassed from doing that but a badass at the same time. You ignored his texts, calls, and his knocks on the door of your house.

"Y/n! Please let me in I really need to talk to you, It's really important." He would say when he was at your door. You felt so bad ignoring him. After all he was your friend.

You walked up to your window, opened it, and looked outside to see the dark, navy sky. You could see shining stars that you loved to see. That you loved to see with Makoto. You then remembered the times you would stargaze together, talking about the beautiful stars that shined above the both of you.

'No, I have to forget! I Have to move on from this...he needs to be happy with her, he just...needs to be happy.' You thought to yourself.

You checked the time and saw that it was almost midnight. You've had restless nights these past few days. You got changed into your pjs, and hopped into bed. Just as you was drifting to sleep you heard something...someone.

You looked at the shadow your room. It seemed oddly familiar. "Y/n." You heard them call. Wait, I know that voice it's!-

"Makoto?" You questioned as you turned on the light. "M-Makoto!? What are you doing in here? How did you even get in?!" You questioned him. You where shocked. "Well uhh, you should really close your window, you know so nobody gets in next time..." He chuckled. "This isn't a laughing matter." You replied. As you were getting out of bed ready to take him home. You felt something around your waist.

Makoto grabbed you and then turned you around and embraced you. You blushed, hoping he wouldn't see it in the dim light. "M-Makoto, I..." "I've been so worried about you y/n." He whispered softly. "I've missed you so much, I really can't stand a day without talking to you." He said. "Makoto..." You responded.

"I'm sorry!" You yelled. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry I'm sorry! I tried to forget! I tried so hard but I can't! I thought I should forget but now... I don't." "I wanted you to be happy, I was being so selfish...I want you to be happy no matter what!"

I buried my face in his chest. While holding on tightly to his hoodie. His face turned bright red. "Y/n..." He said. "But the thing that makes me happy is...you." "You're my hope, you're my happiness." As he said that you felt like you were going to cry. "Well what about Kyoko?" You questioned him. "Nonononono! Me and her are just friends, we're just close that's all I promise!" He said while waving his arms in the air. "I'm sorry for not telling you earlier, I should've told you how I felt, I was such a coward." "No! Don't say things like that about yourself, please." You hugged him tighter.

"I-I love you y/n." You were absolutely shocked that he said that. You looked up at him and, suddenly, you were kissing each other.

You felt his warm aura around you. You felt his soft warm lips touch yours. It was passionate, but soft. "Y/n, promise me one thing." He said. "Huh?" You replied. "Don't ever leave me." He said. "I won't! I won't! I'll never leave you! We'll be together...forever, I-I promise." You hugged him tighter, causing both of your faces to turn red. Then you leaned over on him, causing both of you to collapse on the bed. You were on top of him. You looked to the side, while he looked and admired you. He put his hand on your cheek and your eyes met.

You shared another kiss. You were now side to side on the bed.

"Y/n it's getting late I should go."

"No," You replied while grabbing his wrist. "Please, stay with me." Your face turned a light pink. "I will then." He replied.

You both lied down in bed together. You buried your face in his chest while putting your arms around him. He put his arms around you, feeling his warm embrace.

"I love you." You told him.

"I love you too, y/n."

Then, you both drifted off to sleep together, trapped in his warm embrace.
