dear god

is heaven running out of angels?

is that why the good people in my life have left?

are you building
an army up there to
prepare for when the
greatest sinner asks
for your forgiveness?

will you make warriors out of their hearts and
give them wings of steel and gold and
flaming swords of pure righteousness?

are they coming to slay all
the dark things of the world?

are they coming to avenge you and your mercy?
