10 - Desperate Vijay

Vijay's POV:

I woke up & got ready for shoot. On my way to the shoot, Akshay informed me about my schedule. He asked me about something but I didn't paid any attention & lost in her thoughts.

Akshay shaked me a little saying " This Doctor has really taken ur mind bro... Control man.. Get a grip on urself."

I smiled sheepishly & he continued " I have never seen u like this before. U are definitely in love with her."

I sighed " About Love I don't know..But I definitely like her. She is very special. Her chubby cheeks, her curly hair, her magnetic black eyes, her smile, her angelic voice I can't get enough of those.." I said leaning back onto the car seat imagining her.

"Bro..ur behaving like a Romeo." He said whistling.

"I wish I had her number. I even searched on hospital website for her number."I said sadly palming my face.

"May be I can help you out on that." He said smirking.

I asked with a doubt,"How? "

"May be by kicking u out of the moving car & helping u land up in the hospital so that u can meet her & ask her number.😂😂" He said laughing out his stomach.

" Haha.. very funny." I irritatedly said & turned away.

"On a serious note bro..I had her number." He said raising an eyebrow.

I excitedly turned towards him & said " How did u get her number? Give it to me immediately."

"She is the one who called me & informed me about ur discharge." Akshay said & handed me her number.

"U owe me for this bro.." he said.

Ignoring him I immediately called her. Before she answer my call ,Akshay snatched my phone & disconnected the call.

I gave him a questioning look. " U idiot... U should have a solid reason to contact her. U couldn't sound desperate to her & spoil ur image in her mind. Remember first impression is the best impression." He said warning me.

" I just wanted to thank her for treating me. Is this reason not sufficient to call her " I asked.

"No..bro. u already thanked her while leaving the hospital. U also posted on instagram. Then what's the need of calling her." He questioned me raising a valid point.

" Yeah bro..u had a point. Then suggest me an idea." I asked him with a puppy face.

"Don't throw me that i-am-so-innocent look. Give me sometime to come up with an idea. Till then don't act witty &don't call her." He said while getting out of the car as we reached the shooting spot.

After entering my caravan I asked him " what if she calls me back by seeing missed call. what should I tell her then " expressing my doubt genuinely.

" She is not as desperate as u & moreover she won't have time to call back some unknown number. She is a busy doctor." He said cutting me off the ground.

I simply nodded & got ready for the shoot with the help of my designer & makeup artist. Once shooting started I focused on my acting setting aside her thoughts for timebeing.

I completed my shot & came into my caravan. Akshay is waiting for me excitedly. As soon as he saw me he jumped up on me saying ," I got an idea bro.."

All my other staff gave us weird looks.
I asked them to wait outside for a minute. Once we both are alone he started " Bro..I will forward my grand mother's relative's reports which I recieved yesterday. She had a lump in the breast from 2 months. She was diagnosed with breast cancer. U forward it to her asking her opinion about the condition."

I thought for a while & said " Good idea. I think it will work." I forwarded it to her on whatsApp informing my name.

I sighed hitting send button. It immediately showed double tick. I can't see her profile pic or lastseen.
May be due to privacy issues.
I waited for her reply but nothing came. I was called by my director for the shot. "She might be busy." I thought & went for the shot..🎬🎬
