16 - Movie Night under stars

Deepu's POV:

I stopped the car on reaching our destination. A Loud Gasp escaped from me on seeing the location infront of me.

" What's wrong Doc? " Vijay asked shaking me & breaking my trance.

" It is so beautiful " I said getting down the car & explored the place in wonder.

We are on hill top & the entire city can be seen from here. The night view of the city is just awful with flickering lights.

It seems like stars are twinkling on the ground instead in the sky. Its so serene & peaceful.

I turned around & found vijay taking blankets & pillows from back seat.

" How do u know this place ? Its so beautiful here " I screamed in excitement.

He smiled & carried those stuff to one of the big rock , spreading them on the rock.

He offered me his hand. I climbed up the rock & the view from there is even more beautiful.

Its like the 2 sets of stars shinning around us. One in the sky & other in the form of lights in the city.

" Its my hide away place. Whenever I feel low or whenever I want escape from the chaos around me , I choose this place. I feel so refreshing & peaceful spending time here watching the entire city " Vijay said settling on the blanket he arranged earlier.

" Yeah it's so peaceful " I said settling beside him.

" I found about this place in one my movie shoot. This place is so lifeless in day time just like dry rock. But during night it provides this wonderful view. That's the reason why ppl say COIN HAS 2 SIDES " Vijay said enjoying the view infront of him.

" Wahh...Vijay, what a philosophy " I said tapping his shoulder & started laughing. He glared at me. I stopped laughing.

For a minute we both were silent. We enjoyed the peaceful silence.

After a minute I can hear some ruffling sounds beside me. I turned to see that Vijay is arranging laptop & searching something in it.

All this while , I failed to notice that he is carrying his laptop bag.

" What r u doing vijay? " I asked.

"Movie nyt under stars " he said shrugging his shoulders & grinned like a child.

" Which movie " I asked.

" Wait babes.. u will get to know " he said & started the movie.

I settled comfortably on pillow & movie started displaying it's name.

I was shocked 😳 it's vijay's new movie which is going to be premiered tomorrow. I immediately paused the movie , turned to vijay & said

" Vijay.. this movie is not yet released. I will watch it in theatre once it's released. Play some other movie."

" Nothing doing babes.. u refused to come for premiere. I wanted to watch this movie with you first " He said clicking the play button.

" No Vijay, it's wrong. Does ur producer know about ur this act of showing movie to outsider before its release ? " I asked pausing the movie again.

" Shut up yaar... U r not an outsider , u r my... " He stopped in between with hesitation. I raised an eyebrow questioning him.

What he was going to say about me. Why did he stopped in between. Does he have feelings for me?? No no we are just friends. Why would he have feelings on me. I am not his type. I am just overthinking.

" U r close to me. Moreover I want ur review for the movie. " Vijay said making me sigh in relief.

" Haha... I am a great critic. Its very difficult to impress me. " I said.

" Ohoo... Its vijay devarakonda here. Its very easy for me to impress any one with my acting skills " he said raising his collars.

" I warned u beforehand vijay. Let's see... " I said & he started the movie.

" U r the only hero to make Piracy of his own movie.... " I said sarcastically.

He laughed & we started watching movie making ourselves comfortable on pillows.

He even planned for popcorn🍿. He placed popcorn between us. I started munching the popcorn & seriously involved in the movie.

I must agree that Vijay is a wonderful actor. He performed naturally & brilliantly in all scenes be it romantic, emotional or action scenes or comedy. He performed with an ease in all scenes.

Vijay's POV:

" Shut up yaar... U r not an outsider , u r my... " I stopped in between.

She is definitely not my friend, but more than that. I stopped myself from uttering out the word in my mind
i.e; u r my love.

Yes, I love her... I love her... I did happy dance inside realising that I love her.

She raised her eyebrow questioning me . I covered the situation & started the movie.

She is soo into the movie & I am soo into her.

I started observing her features. The way her magnetic black eyes fixed onto the screen , the way her lips move while eating that stupid popcorn. Its so sexy.

I instantly felt jealous of that popcorn.

Stupid me. I was thinking like love sick puppy. She is driving me crazy.

With one hand she is eating that stupid popcorn whereas her left hand is busy in curling her already curly noodles hair.

How can someone be so attractive even being messy.

Her hair looked like a Pichuka goodu (i.e; bird's nest) . I wanted to nuzzle my nose in that bird's nest. Its so not me. I always used to straight silky hair of my co actors. But she changed me.

Here I am feeling restless, but she was enjoying the movie unknown of my restlessness.

There comes a romantic scene in the movie where I was kissing the heroine. I hope my messy Dr will get jealous seeing this.

No... Madam is enjoying the scene with utmost interest. There is no hint of jealousy in her eyes. My hopes are crushed badly.

Here I wanted to kiss her badly, but she is enjoying watching me kissing other girl. I gritted my teeth in frustration.

" U are a Good kisser Vijay " Deepu stated out of a sudden , making me startled.

" Yeah babes... wanna try " I teased her.

Her eyes bulged out listening to me. I started leaning in towards her.

Her expressions are damn funny. I laughed out loud & said " just kidding" moving away from her.

I can see relief in her eyes & she hit my shoulder hardly & shifted her focus on the movie.

" Ouch.... It hurts " I said rubbing my shoulder. She gave me a ' u deserve it look' & turned towards screen.

As the movie comes to end, my nervousness started to rise thinking about her review on the movie.

Never in my acting career , I bothered about my movie review or its result. I will do my part i.e; acting with utmost sincerity. I don't give much importance to movie result.

But with her, it is different. I was expecting a positive review from her.

As the movie ended, I looked at her excitedly for a reply....
