Deepu's POV:

I woke up by the sound of my alarm after snoozing it for 15 times. I freshen up made breakfast & ate it. Before going to hospital I checked my bag for all things . Once I ensured that I didn't forget anything I locked my appartment & reached hospital @9:20 AM by auto.

I wished receptionist & reached my department , wished all Doctors & Dr.Bhardwaj. I went for rounds in all wards & given necessary instructions to residents regarding treatment of certain pts. Dr.Bhardwaj came for rounds we followed him noting necessary points giving our inputs in some cases.

During rounds of Dr.Bhardwaj , in ICU there is a case of Paraquat poisioning ( a type of herbicide) .As there is no specific antidote for it ,the prognosis of patient is very poor. In 100% cases of severe Paraquat poisoning the end result is Death.
Already the pt is end stage & is on mechanical ventilation (ventilator). The pt may die at any moment.

In these cases explaining prognosis to pt relatives is very difficult. But the way Dr.Bhardwaj handled it & made pts wife understand his situation is truly inspiring to me. As a Doctor we should handle such situations very smoothly. I appreciate his way of approach.

After rounds I assisted Dr.Bhardwaj in his out patient consultations & learnt different approaches he used to treat a case. Today we speedup the process as I accustomed to it & finished our work by 2:30 PM.

After wishing him good day I entered SR room where my colleagues are chatting. We chatted for a while & went to hospital Drs canteen & ate our lunch & parted our ways to our respective homes.

The 1st one week I had a same routine. I accompany Dr.Bhardwaj's rounds & assist him in op consultations. VIP rooms are monitored directly by Dr.Bharadwaj whereas other wards r managed by 2 assistant professors under the guidance of Dr.Bharadwaj. As I was new & take time to adjust ,there is no nyt shift for me in 1st week.

Dr.Bhardwaj posted me in VIP ward .As the work there is very less I
assisted him in his outpatient consultations daily after completing my work .

I mingled with all my colleagues we used to go for dinners , shoppings etc..
After 1st week I was alloted with nyt shifts once a week ( there will not be any day off after or before nyt shift it's just that we are allowed to come late nxt day upto 11:00AM).

As I had done my graduation & PG in govt hospitals I was used that schedule. During my PG there are times with continuous 30-32 hrs shift without even 1hr sleep.
But here as I am SR I can sleep in nyt shift for some time (3-4hrs mostly)& if there is any emergency my PGs used to inform me. So it's not that hectic here in nyt shifts.

I successfully completed my 1st 20 days of my SR ship . I am eagerly waiting to receive my 1st month salary as I totally fed up with traffic in this city. Yesterday after a nyt shift followed by hectic day shift it took me 1hr30min to reach home.

So I decided to buy a 2 wheeler of my own immediately after receiving my salary. I even visited few showrooms to check the models. I decided to take black colour scooty .As it is not available now I told showroom staff to inform me when black arrives.

Whatever may be my mrng routine my day always ends with His memories. I end up sleeping either crying or smiling remembering him with a broken heart 💔💔💔
