20 - Brainless Idiot

Vijay's POV :

" Fuckkk!!!" I woke up jumping on my bed, fully drenched in water.

" Happy Birthday Annayya ( i.e; bro) " My younger brother, Anand screamed holding an empty bucket in his hand.

" You...... Idiot.. wait " I said & started chasing him.

He throw the empty bucket away & started running in the entire house for his life.

Finally, I caught him in the living room.

Now, I was sitting on his stomach & he on the floor in living room.

" You... Idiot , is the way to wish someone " I said launching continuous punches in his stomach.

" Sorry annayya..." he shouted in pain but I didn't budge & continued my punching session.

" Bro... Cool down... Its paining. I have been waiting for you to wakeup since 1 hr. But you had no intention of waking up " Anand said pushing me with a force.

Now , we both are lying on the floor laughing our guts out.

After a while, he got up & gave me a hand for me to get up.

" I miss u annayya " he said pulling me into a hug.

Someone cleared their throat behind us. " I got tears, seeing ur brothers sentiment " Akshay said dramatically wiping his imaginary tears.

We both glared at him & Now Akshay became punching bag for both of us.

We three are like best buddies. I miss those good olden days where we used to enjoy our life to the fullest with no pressures of settlement or careers.

" By the way, what's the need to wake me up this early in the morning " I asked ,as we three settled in sofa in the living room.

" Bro..for ur kind information, it's not mrng, it's 3PM in the afternoon " They said laughing.

" What..!!! why don't u wake me up early ? " I asked glaring at both.

" We thought u need some rest , to get over your hangover from the last night " Akshay said giggling.

Yeah, we had a badass party last night celebrating my birthday. Lot my friends from film industry were part of it.

Usually I don't get drunk, but all my frnds forced me to gulp 10-15 shots of vodka & on top of it I already had 2 beers by then. It collectively led to the consequences i.e; I reached home by 6:00Am with a severe hangover.

" Ok, I will get freshen up " I said moving towards my room.

" By the way Annayya.... when am I going to meet my Vadhina ( i.e; sister in law) " anand asked , making me stop in my track.

I gave him a 'what r u talking , I don't understand' look.

" I mean... My Doctor vadina" He said winking & hi-fi ing with Akshay.

I glared at Akshay throwing him a ' I will see ur end ' look for revealing this matter to Anand.

" There is nothing like that, we are just close friends " I said turning towards Anand.

" Oh.. just close friendssss" they both said in unison, stressing the word friends.

I ignored them & rushed into my room. They both burst into laughter.

" Atleast , show me vadhina's pic " anand shouted entering into my room.

" I don't have her pic " I shouted in return from the bathroom.

I am in the shower. Water is running through out my body & I was lost in her thoughts.

"Love is not beautiful as shown in movies. In real, love is painful & filled with many sorrows "

Her teary words kept ringing in my ears. I wanted to know her sorrows. I wanted to wipe off her all pains.

Unknowingly, a tear dropped from my eyes remembering her crying face.

Ahhhhh.... I screamed inside my mind. I can't see her in pain....

No matter what, I should unite both of them. The thought of loosing her to someone brought uncontrollable tears. But I want her to be happy.

" Don't cry vijay... Be a man " I consoled myself & got out of the shower with blood-red eyes.

" She is so beautiful.."

" Both looks so romantic together"

I can hear Anand & akshay whispering those words , looking the pic of me & Deepu in my phone, in which she slept on my shoulders from our movie nyt.

I immediately snatched my phone from them. They tried to protest but stopped seeing my blood red eyes.

I can't control anymore. I told everything for them.

" Seriously Bro... Are you planning to sacrifice your love. U even don't know what's her past. They broke up , that means there might be a strong reason behind it. If they are meant to be together, they will become one, no matter what. You don't need to act stupid " Anand said consoling me.

"You r thinking like a Brainless idiot. First you should know her side of the story. Don't assume things by yourself.
Does she really wanted to patch up. We should know that first. You should fight for your love bro " Akshay said putting some senses into my brain.

" But..." I was cutoff in between by Anand saying " No buts... She is comming for the party right "

I nodded in response.

" Then leave it on us. We will make her share her story to you by herself " They both said winking to each other.

I hope they don't do something stupid.

" Come on.. now don't be like a Devdas. It's ur birthday bro. Cheer up"
Anand said cheering me up.

" Don't you dare again to say like, I am gonna sacrifice my love for her happiness kind of shit " Akshay warned me making me smile.

" Don't worry about arrangements for party. We will take care of everything. You better be ready with ur proposal speech " they said teasing me.

" Chicken biryani & fruit custard will be there compulsory. Don't worry " Akshay teased making me remember her love for those two.

They left me alone to check for the arrangements.

" What would I be , without these two idiots " I thought. They are my backbone through out my life. Like today, whenever I was going on wrong track they both put me back in right track.

Now, I am infront of mirror ,fully dressed up , preparing the best way to propose her.

I atleast tried for 100 times, but nothing seems satisfactory. I even searched on Google for best proposal speech but none of them are fruitful.

I am nervous as hell. Its almost time for her arrival, but here I am still searching words to express my love. Shitt....!!

The great Vijay Devarakonda , who can make any girl head over heels just by his looks, is lack of words to express his love for his woman.
