17 - Being her support

Vijay's POV:

" How was the movie? " I asked rubbing my hands with little nervousness.

She turned towards me & started excitedly " movie was awesome, your acting is fab , chemistry between you & heroine is hotttt..." She said with dreamy eyes.

" Story is superb. It's fantastic lovestory. I wanted to see this movie again in theatre..." She said making me proud of myself.

" But...." She stopped in between. Suddenly her face became very gloomy.

She laid down staring at the stars & caressing ring 💍 on her left hand ring finger.

" What happened ? " I asked in concern.

" I wonder why wouldn't life be as easy as shown in movies " she asked staring into the depths of the sky.

" Love is not beautiful as shown in movies. In real, love is painful & filled with many sorrows " she said with tears flowing from her eyes.

I settled beside her comforting her in my arms & said " I know there is something bothering you. If u are comfortable , u can share with me. I am all ears. "

She looked at me & started crying more. I understood that she is not ready to share. I don't want her to feel uncomfortable.

" Its Ok. U share whenever u feel like. I will not force u. But remember that
I will be there by ur side, no matter what. " I said caressing her hairs.

She wiped her tears & rested her head on my shoulders.

That moment I decided that I will support her all my life , no matter she will accept my love or not.

" All love stories are not like fairytales with happy ending as shown in movies. Love is so complicated & very difficult to understand. But being in love is so beautiful. But God has other plans. He don't want ppl to be peaceful. He want Drama to enjoy. So whenever we are happy in our life with our loved ones , he will snatch away those happiness & make our lives miserable. Why God..why..??? " she asked looking into the dark sky as if questioning God.

"May be, He is planning something Big for u , something which u deserve, something which makes ur life more beautiful " I replied.

She sighed & said " No, I don't have any hopes on that. I just wanted that nothing wrong happens in my professional career. That's it. "

"Nothing wrong will happen Doctor. U will be one of the best doctors in our telugu states " I assured her.

There is complete silence between us. But it is not awkward like earlier. I am happy that she is opening up slowly. We both stared into the dark sky with twinkling stars.

She slowly drifted into sleep. I wish , I can stop this moment for a life time. She sleeping on my shoulder like a little baby. Her face looks angelic under moon light.

I captured the moment by taking lots of selfies 🤳. I caressed the pictures in my phone.

There are still dried tears on her cheeks. I wish I can wipe off all her sorrows , if I had super powers that hero has as shown in movies. I too dozed off with these thoughts in my mind.

I felt someone shaking my shoulders. I partially opened my eyes to see Deepu trying to wake me up.

" Vijay... Vijay.. wake up. Its past 4:30AM. We should get going , I had a mrng shift... Plz wake up " she said shaking me.

I decided to act as if I was asleep & I wanted to see what she will do next.

" Vijay.... wake up now, I know u r acting " she said with hands on her waist.

I still continued my acting ignoring her words.

She slowly traced her hands on my chest, sides & reached my pants. I got lost in the moment. Does she trying to seduce me ??

My heart is pounding inside my ribcage. I am feeling hot 🔥. Shit what is she trying to do!!!

Before I realise what happened, she grabbed car keys from my pant pocket & got up.

" It's okay.... Sleep till eternity. I am going bye " she said moving towards the car.

I got up with a jerk. I felt very hot due to previous encounter.

" Wait.. Deepu. I am coming.." I screamed in frustration.

I picked my laptop & blankets, pillows & dumped in the back seat of the car.

There she is whistling , sitting in the driving seat with her fingers tapping on the steering wheel.

" U stupid girl... Can't u help carrying those stuff to the car. " I asked irritated.

" It's the punishment for ur acting like u r asleep " she said irking me more.

"I wonder how u manage acting so well on-screen. Off screen you r a terrible actor " She said smirking.

" Haha... very funny " I said moving towards driving seat.

"Go to the nxt seat. U look tired , I will drive . You take rest Deepu " I said opening the door of her side.

" No, I will drive " she said stubbornly
I glared in return.

" U too looks tired. Moreover I don't want to die earlier & I don't trust sleepless drivers like you " she said closing the door.

" U called me Driver...!!" I asked glaring at her.

" Yeah.. any problem " she replied shrugging.

" I am not a Driver. I own this car u know.." I said gritting my teeth.

" So what..?! Are u coming or shall I leave?? " She asked starting the car.

I stomped my foot in frustration & got seated in the passenger seat with an irritated face.

She started driving enjoying the music playing in the background.

Her left hand on gear rod caught my attention, mainly the ring 💍

Why did she still wearing it ,when the person she loved left her.

Does she still love him. Who is he ? Why did they broke up?

Is there any chance, that they both can again patch up ?

The very thought itself made me very sad.

Can I sacrifice my love for her happiness & help them unite ?!

' Yes, I can do it ' I determined making my heart break into zillion pieces.

First I should know about their lovestory. But how????
