Rin POV

I felt panic.
I wasn't panicing, I was excited.
So it was the emotional link? Why? ...It's too chaotic in the M-Link (Mindlink), it only causes me headaches.
The E-Link (emotional link) has worry, panic, anger, frustration..? What the Hell?
What could get the Demon Kings so riled up? I blended it out but then I saw a tuft of brown/ black and yellow hair like a chicken's at the door.

I stopped.

"Bon?" Shura called out, having followed my line of sight after I stopped my favorite exorcise & time of the day besides eating, playing with Kuro and sleeping.

Btw when I sleep I sometimes see a whole other world - like really! It's mostly the same all the time; it has 2 Moons - a small red and giant, burning blue one - or is one of them the sun? Anyway, everything seems bigger and deadlier. Although sometimes I see demons, peaceful ones, talking in a weird language I've begun to slowly understand and once talked with to Kuro when I woke up. He said it's their native Tongue, most younger or infant Demons speak it as the older ones travel in Assiah and thus pick up English/ Japanese.

Back to Chickenface- "That thing will finally get what it deserves. Pain, not enjoyment or happiness for taking the lives of so many! - do you know how many of my family, I, Shima and Koneko, lost because of you?!" He yelled making my ears ring.

"Satan."

"What you say!?"

"—Satan killed your family, friends and whatnot. I didn't.
I wasn't even born then, nevermind knew where you three lived before we went there.
I never physically harmed or incapacitated you. The most I ever did to change your life was lie about being a spawn of Satan with Yukio, save you or wound your pride while helping you --
I say Leaper."

"Bastard!!"   "Rin!!!"

Bon charged at me, but I only evaded using the parkour to put distance between us. He could never hope to match the speed of a demon. Especially not blood-high or excited.

Then he started chanting while doing so and I got aches at random places- my stomach, my head, in between my toes.. Hella nasty! It felt like I got cramps all over!!

Then Koneko pressed a button and Shima visibly paled all the while sweating and his heart-speed suddenly increased 3-fold. Something is wrong:
I sense Guilt, Rage, Sadness, Apprehension, Excitement, Hope, Confusion and... Anticipation.

'They planned something'.
Just then I felt a sizzling pain on my entire left arm. There was smoke coming from it. I knew this feeling and this particular scent very well.
It smelled like.. Holy Water.
'A trap'.

I heightened my senses...
The entire room is filled with them!! I gave Shura a very panicked look.  "Damn you! Your trying to-" Multiple grenades exploded, covering everything in a thick mist.

I screamed in pain which only got stronger as Bon, Koneko and Shiemi started chanting fatal verses for 🔥-demons together.

Shura tried stopping them.. only to get stopped by Yukio?!
My own brother...No. No, he isn't. He isn't my brother. He lost the right to be and call himself that. He stopped caring, erased part of his blood. We only look alike, he's a fake. A fake of someone I had once known.

Shura got her demon-sword out while Yukio got out his guns. They began to fight, Kamiki ran outside with her eyes wide and said something to Shima, to which he quickly followed after her.  I felt something.... rotten snap just then and feeling refreshed despite the tiring pain. Replaced by something new, something cold I didn't know I ever had like my flames.
