After the Gehenna Gate Incident, Rin had enough. People still have a problem with him being a spawn of Satan. So he decided to run away, having enough of their bullshit.

While Rin was slowly bleeding to death, crumbling in on himself, and (unbeknownst to him) the Baal worked on a rescue plan, he totally forgot the egg that he still carried around in his hoodies inner pocket.
None had noticed it as it was cold and didn't have a pulse (on their radars) so they assumed it was a stone. They also couldn't separate the stone from the demon, so they thought it was a body part of sorts as he seemed to be a new type of demon with his tail and resistence against holy verses and holy water internally. No one saw that the egg was basically bathing in Rin's blood and a tiny crack formed on it to let the blood seep in and be absorbed.
The egg was beginning to gain in heat and size.
Suddenly a guard came in. "Today we'll let you rest and take a look at these ones." he began opening the children's cage.
"You're... brea.king... y-r pwo-ise...!!" Rin chocked out.
"You didn't have a deal to begin with, demon scum. Though I'd love to see that expression of yours after I break them." The guard reached towards the kids, grabbing 2 of them quite harshly on their weakened body's making them yelp/ whine.
Rin felt anger- No, it was far worse and diverse than just that. He felt rage, disappointment, fear and hate that he hadn't had in quite a long time. Letting his emotions get the better of him he screamed with new vigor on his sandpaper-like tongue: "Let. Them. Go.Let. Us. Free. You mongrel of a single-cell organism that dares claim superior!!"
Blue and red flames suddenly burst to life on his body, breaking the chains and seals while granting him renewed strength and vigor. For a second he thought it was his father, Satan, who hugged him. Well they certainly were welcome to him right now.
"SATAN!!?" the guard screamed, hauling the kids at Rin while desperately calling for back up. "Satan is in the dungeons, I repeat Satan is in the-!!"
"Shut your mouth, rodent." Rin spoke in Gehennish, while catching the children with his flames that noticeably didn't burn them. The seals on the kids also vanished under the flames that continued to spread to the other demons, breaking them out of their cells, burning their chains, seals and other restraints. By then they were 30 demons being free of seals and chains, all of which now looking at Rin.
The egg finally broke after taking in a few flames and unleashing the actual giant that grew into it's size and busted the ceiling.

'Get on, Master!!' Rin heard in his head. "Everydemon on the dragon?!" He screamed at the others who, finally seeing a chance of freedom, quickly climbed or -if at all possible- jumped onto it's back. Kuro, who'd hid among the kids as a stuffed toy went to Rin and jumped onto the dragon with him.
"GO!!"
The dragon flapped it's enormous wings, burning parts of the ceiling and climbed out of the imprisoning underground, passing the main hall where they got a few other demons to follow them and saw Justin--who was neither chained nor trying to help the other's escape.
