Trouble

Rin POV

I've regained my senses and woke up in a cell with other demons. The kids were in another one, though we could see each other despite the dark thanks to our heightened senses. Sadly we all wore seals and chains, like animals they would've turned me into. Luckily, Justin wasn't with us so~.. we have hope, if not dread that they killed him. From what the demons have told me they've been here for ages, around 4years without food or water and having to work as their slaves. They get taken out in the morning, either to an underground Arena at True Cross where they fight each other or exorcists, though they can't kill them with the seals on and other exorcists having holy water fire extinguishers or as slaves for labour around the city in the evening.

No wonder the city changed so much so quickly.

Me and the kids haven't been taken out yet, but I dreaded what they could do to the kids. They are sometimes taken and don't return on time while the guards just say "time for class" which I can only hope they aren't being used as guinea pigs or for demonstration like that one hobgoblin that was in class.
I always wondered if it was compressed before I asked my family expert, Amai. He told me it wasn't, but a lost kid they probably exorcised afterwards...
I made a grave in the woods afterwards and apologised for not being able to help or hearing it's pleas for help.

3rd POV

Today marked the fifth day Rin and the kids were there and so far Rin has agreed or rather managed to make a kind of deal with the exorcists to leave the kids alone in return for him being used as their substitute. He was tortured in the arena without really being able to defend himself, chained to the ground and evading bullets. If any time at all, he looked forwards to the Arias who were still trying to find his none-existing Fatal Verse. He wasn't surprised to find out that they don't know the ones to most of his brothers (though there was this one time with Astaroth and Fujimoto, but he was the Paladin aka their Ex-strongest member). He hadn't heard of Shura so far, maybe she went to report the situation first and observe?

If he wasn't at the arena they'd take him to exorcist classes where they'd poke at him (and his tail), make him speak of Gehenna for information or inject him with liquids that burned in his blood for hours everytime they tried a new one. He could only understand that it was to be a new and stronger holy water/ gas-toxin. So everyday, for 2-3? days (he lost track), Rin's been getting worse for wear and weaker. He also couldn't take care of his injuries and the other demons' powers were sealed so escape seemed like a futile attempt and wasted effort. Through Rin's deal, the kids remained unharmed; hungry, but physically fine.

But he noted that his body and high-metabolism now slowly took to eating what it could from his body as it didn't receive any nutrients whatsoever.

~Meanwhile in Gehenna,
Satan's Throne Room~

"Father? Why have you been so crunchy as of late?" asked Iblis.

"First, that's not the correct word. 2nd, Rin hasn't sent any messages to me and 3rdly, he should be home after tomorrow. I'm just anx-" Just then the doors slammed open revealing Egyn and Astaroth with a panting Beelzebub behind them who was wheezing on his knees.

"What's up with you 3? Run a marathon through your territories after lunch?" questioned Azazel.

"Worse, terrible news actually. Beel was at the Square per usual but heard rumors of how family's couldn't contact their younger siblings/ kids anymore. So he came to me asking if it's a possible Virus, but then Astaroth barged in saying how his Vessel -that Shiratori kid- heard from that Shura-woman and some district demons how the exorcist caught a group of demons and possibly RIN!!" screamed Egyn.

"Holy Fuck!" Iblis set himself on fire while Azazel called in a Hurricane. Both blasting the windows until they heard how their father broke the armrest on his throne (made from the hardest and sturdiest material in Gehenna), but it wasn't the only thing that made an unsettling noise. The other one sounded wooden?

They searched for the source until Beelzebub stepped behind his Throne only to see something blue behind his father's Throne. Nothing unusual but this piqued his interest as it was also black. Frowning, he walked towards it only for his eyes to widen "NO!!!". Satan jumped in his throne going out of his 'calm Rage'-trance as his 2nd youngest had sneaked up on him. He looked behind his throne only for said son to run past him before showing them all an item that their father was meant to keep safe and guarded.

Rin's flames ebbed if not gurgled out of the breaking scabbard making all widen their eyes. Immediately Satan shot forward grabbing the sword and tried to repair it, but with minimal success as it only slowed down the process. "SEARCH FOR YOUR BROTHER NOW!! ALL OF YOU!!"
screamed the Demonic God, making the room explode in his cursed flames and the 5 Baal who had been present teleport or escape to Assiah contacting the others per ML which got immediate responses. Lucifer crashed the Illuminati into a plan to storm the Vatican with Samael pointing out their HQ's layout which he still kept track of and including their brothers into diversion, rescue, attack/defend.
They would get him back before it's too late this time!!!
