Trip Above

Today was the day. The day many dreaded, where expectations went haywire and nerves got wrecked. No it's not Tests or Exams.

The ones in getting their nerves wrecked to oblivion were some elders and parent demons. Reason being their kid's were going to Assiah for a week and they've been going cray-cray (read: GAGA) about it. The meeting place was in the Center Plaza of the Capital City called 'World Reign'.

-which is the place Rin is currently headed to on Kuro's back; having jumped out through his window to avoid his brothers (or father) accidentally affecting his TOA (Time of Arrival) and causing him to miss the tour. 'No thanks!' thought both demons.

They were running/ riding though the forest around Satan's Palace to remain undetected and heading for the shortcut. It was a secret tunnel Amai and Beel had shown him for sneaking out to do their own agendas (candy or playing with other demons).

After a 10min ride they breached the surface and were outside of the forest. Rin was now riding slower through the crowd of demons plaguing the central district. Thankfully it wasn't hard to spot the tour group: they were surrounded with kids in the inner circle and adults in the outer rim. He headed over to join them, Kuro still being big enough to avoid colliding or getting crushed with all the bigger demons.

"A'right is that EVERYONE?!"

"Wait for me!!" Rin and Kuro jumped up towards the fountain that they "-Woah!" cleared upon seeing the giant figure leap at them. Multiple kids scrambled to make way for the giant furry.

"...Was that everyone, cause it's time. Also, if that's your familiar please ask/ get them to shrink." asked the demon that seemed to be the one in charge of the tour. He was a fire-kin judging by his tan skin and brightly colored hair. He also had large cat ears under a reverse basecap.

"Good. Let's go, say bye 👋🏻" with that he turned around and everyone (every demonkid) followed after him. Our tour group consisted of him, me and Kuro as well as 12-14 y. O. (in human terms, obviously they're Age x1000 older... Meaning their still older than me despite our size difference). We were 11 demons in total.

Rin POV
We went to smth similar to a church and headed to the back of the prayer table, there was a pathway downwards with stairs going in a circle around an open middle without railings. He jumped down the stairs. "Those of you who can fly can glide down. Those of you who don't, don't worry or be afraid, if you fall I'll catch you!!".

3 kids flew down, 1 jumped down and caught themselves with a water bubble like a gummy ball. So me and the other 4 were heading down via the stairs.
I could get down many ways myself: simply jump down like the guide, go with Kuro, flame travel or use a trick my brothers Samael and Azazel taught me: Levitation.

But instead I opted to stay with the others. It seemed logical to me to have smo older (even if that's wrong from a demons POV) at the top/back of the group and the guide was already waiting for us on the bottom aka the front. It was about 5 more windings down before a kid tripped on their tail. He also seemed pretty afraid of heights; 'Must be an Earth-kin'. Anyways he tumbled down, the guide running over to the place he'd crash down but I sent Kuro ahead to catch him just in case.
He was one of the fastest familiars in his larger form, not to mention more agile. The ones on the stairs stopped walking and looked down horrified. Luckily Kuro caught the kid by the scruff and jumped off the walls before regaining his balance and slowing down, setting the kid down next to the guide. I decided to take the rest of the kids down my way.

"Hey, want me to carry you down?"
I asked the still petrified kids.
They looked back at me startled before nodding. A girl mumbling a quiet "yes, please."
With that I went to each one in front of me, the first climbed on my head holding tight. I stabilised his position by putting his feet over my shoulders and having him cross them underneath my chin. I then hoisted the other 2 on my arms. "Hold on tight and don't let go (or rip my hair off), ok?" They nodded and I jumped down the middle, the 3 screaming again. I felt my magic pulse and directed it to below me.
