What would happen to us now

Cinthia's POV

Watching Adrian walk out on me made me realize he had every right to, what happened last night was enough to shatter anyone and I don't blame him, I blame Harry, I blame the stupid eighteen years old Cinthia who thought Harry was her prince charming, I blamed them all for the pain they have put me and Adrian through.

   "Hello Aunt",I said on the phone with Joe

  "My dear how are you",Joe asked and I couldn't help but to burst into tears telling her everything that happened last night including everything that happened 4 years ago.

   I couldn't hold it in any longer.

  "Cinthia I don't understand how you feel my dear but I know who does perfectly and that person is Jesus Christ",Joe said

   I couldn't speak as I cried

   "He said in Mathew 11:28-30 come to me all you who labor hard and are heavily laden and I will give you rest, take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light, my dear lay it all at Jesus's feet, go to Him and you will find rest for your soul",Joe said

   "I don't know what else to do aunt, the more I think I'm finally free, the faster my past catches up with me, aunt I had a nightmare tonight for the first time in weeks and now Adrian is going to be fed up with me, aunt I am confused ",I said in tears

   "Calm down dear, the devil is only trying to prevent you from having victory, he's only doing this to stop you from moving on from your past but no my child you must not give chance to the devil, you are now a new creature and God has not given you the spirit of fear but of power, love and sound mind, you can only defeat the devil by putting on the whole armour of God with prayer, you need to be strong in the Lord my dear, this isn't the time to give up",Joe said while I kept quiet

    "When you arrive home, you and I would meet up okay",Joe said

   "Yes Aunt, thank you",I said

   "Thank God dear, my regards to your husband, take care of yourself okay",Joe said

    "Yes I will aunt and you too",I said then she prayed for me before hanging up.

    "Oh Lord when is the trying times going to come to an end",Joe said before going down on her knees to pray for her daughter.

   It was late in the afternoon Adrian returned back from wherever he had gone to and he stinked of alcohol.

   "Hello my beautiful wife", Adrian said drunkily before passing out on the bed then I took off his shoes feeling so sad.

    I didn't know when my cries turned into prayers as I sat on the floor asking God for His help.

   We needed His help.

   Adrian avoided me throughout the day and the next morning, we left for home and on getting to the penthouse, we were surprised with a surprise party which was planned by Adrianna.

  It seemed Adrian hasn't told anyone about what happened to me since everyone didn't say anything about it either.

   "I'm leaving this week", Adrianna said as we both stood at the balcony of my room later that night

   "You are going to Philip",I asked smiling feeling happy for her.

    "Yes, we would be meeting his parents together then we would decide on a wedding date", Adrianna said then her eyes got wet
