My heart is soft too

Adrian's POV

I have never seen Cinthia behave like this before and it's actually cute, she must be so hurt to know she never got to meet her real dad which left me wondering if my dad was ever going to wake up.

    Canceling two meetings for the evening I made my way to the football game just to find Richard seated in the spot where he told me he would be.

   I couldn't bring myself to approach him so I just watched the game sitting few seats behind him.

    My mind was totally not on the game but on my brother whom I have missed so much and at the same time who I was so mad at.

     With a heavy heart full of bitterness, I walked away from the game and drove myself home hoping to be cheered up by Cinthia only to remember that today's Bible study Wednesday.

       "You are home early",Ava said as soon as she came into the study.

    "Have you eaten",I asked not ready to tell her I had gone to see Richard.

    "I haven't, so what time is Cinthia coming home cos it's getting quite late",Ava asked

    "In about 30 minutes",I said

   "Alright then when she walks in we kiss okay",Ava said

   "Are you crazy", I couldn't help but to ask

   "Do I repulse you that much Adrian",Ava asked

   "You and I can not kiss ",I said

   "Well that's the only idea I have got except you have a better one",Ava asked

   "Why should we kiss",I asked

   "It's an accidental kiss okay, we do this to trigger your wife's jealousy and when she explodes we know she loves you and when she doesn't I'm sorry to say this brother but she feels nothing for you except friendship",Ava said and I couldn't help but to agree to her idea knowing there was no way Cinthia wouldn't explode.

   For the first time in my life, I was nervous it reminded me of the day I had to confess my feelings to my first crush back then in highschool, not a good occasion to be reminded of, I must tell you.

   So it's almost time, I thought as Ava and I sat down together watching a movie.

   Hearing the sound of the car entering the compound.

   "Follow my lead",Ava said as she threw a popcorn at me

   So pop corn fight, I chase her, she falls and then we accidentally kiss then we tickle each other but this wasn't part of the plan Ava kissing me again right in front of Cinthia.

    And I knew that smile, it was a wicked one only used when she talked about Treasure...

Cinthia's POV

   Today's Bible study was really refreshing, I got to know I needed to let the Spirit of God manifest itself in my life through its fruit.

    The fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

   If I couldn't be able to bear the fruit of the Spirit, it wouldn't be written in the Bible so I'm going to develop mine, one at a time, I was thinking of love but according to 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 it has various parts so I'm going to start with ...
