"She always admired me, she would dream of a life just like mine. we were best friends and we love each other a lot"

I was telling the team about my sister, I didn't want to tell them but after what happened at the cafe, it was to hard to explain, but I knew i had to.

They would have found out sooner or later...

"So what happened between you guys? she seemed pretty mad." Diggle asks, pointing out the obvious.

"I got excepted to MIT and she was so happy for me" warm tears started to come down my face leaving trails for more to follow. "The plan was for us to get a house together and we would live together, she was only a year younger so she would go to MIT to and it would be great, except..."

"Except what ?" Asked Oliver, looking at me with his head tilted, curiously.

"Except plans changed. My mum lost all the money that we had after my dad left, she kinda went of the rails. We were weeks away from a foreclosure, so I left my sister working at a restaurant helping my mum afford the house that she so desperately needed to keep" I look down now, ashamed of what I did to but it was back then I was a different girl.

They all stared at me for a second unsure on what to say.

I can understand why, I'm sure that they are as ashamed in me as I am with myself.

"That's why she was so mad to see you?" Oliver questions, finally speaking up.

"Yeah, I sent her an email saying how sorry I was, but the letter I got in return told me she never wanted to see me again and that was the last time we spoke" Sighing, I rake my hands through my blonde hair, feeling even worse than I did before I told anyone.

"Wow, and I thought Oliver had family issues" Roy speaks sarcastically, and if I wasn't so upset, I would have probably laughed.

But I don't laugh it hurts to much to.

"Hey!" Oliver exclaims, faking being hurt before seeing that I am actually upset. "Listen, we've all got a past, mostly bad in our case" pausing to wink at me, he carries on. "But maybe you should just try and talk to her, you know, properly?" He looks at me deeply now but I can't hide the shock in my face.

"Are you serious right now?" I basically shout before quieting down, slightly embarrassed by my sudden outburst. "What the hell do you think I've been doing for the past 6 years? Baking 'welcome home' cookies?" My voice is sarcastic and annoyed. "I sent her an e-mail apologising!" I add this on, still annoyed.

"Yeah, an e-mail, little impersonal don't you think? I mean you ditched her with your mom who might I add is a little crazy and then sent her an e-mail saying sorry?" Oliver's voice is questioning and sounds confused. Its almost like he's asking how I could do that to her.

"You know what? Screw you" I sigh as turn to walk away.

"Where you going?" He calls after me.

"I need some air!" I shout back, extra loud to show my annoyance.
