you had checked the weather before you left the house, but you underestimated how stormy a storm could get. the wind was relentless, causing your hair to fly in all directions, even though you had tied it back securely before stepping out of the house.
it was cold too, and you folded your arms across your chest to try keep in the warmth. tsukishima had told you to meet him at your usual spot to teach you how to drive again, since it was your last day off before you had to head back to work at the agency.
over the course of the week, not only had your driving improved, but so had your friendship with tsukishima. of course, he was still an asshole, but then again, you were still a pretty bad driver. miracles can't always happen in the time span of a week, so you decided to wait it out.
at least he was a tolerable asshole.
except for now, when you were standing outside in the cold, waiting for him. and this time, he was late.
and thanks to your luck, it started raining."i swear if he doesn't show up in the next 5 minutes i'm going home." you mumbled to yourself, reaching for your hood only to realise your jacket didn't have a hood.
the one day i don't wear a hoodie, and this happens.
"what the fuck l/n? you couldn't find anywhere else to wait?" you heard an annoying familiar voice taunt you, and you stopped shivering for a few moments to give him a hard glare.
"this is where you always pick me up." you grumbled, climbing into the passenger seat of the car.
"i should've known you'd be he kind of idiot to wait in the rain."
"shut up and just drive would you? i'm cold and grumpy, now is not the time for your stupid nit picking."
"whatever you say, clover."

tsukishima insisted that he had a towel in the trunk of his car, but you didn't believe him.
"what if this if just your way of getting me to open the back of your car so you can push me in and lock me in there and then you drive me off a cliff or something?"
"if i wanted you dead, i could've done that a long time ago."
"i don't know if that's a compliment, but does that mean you want me alive?"
"not particularly, no."
"then there's no way in hell im gonna open your trunk. do it yourself you lazy ass." you argued.
"i don't want to. you can just freeze to death for all i care." he shrugged.
"yeah, maybe i will. and i won't give you anything in my will."
"you can't write a will if you're dead." he sighed.
"new agents all have to write their will in advance to being an official spy. my will is already with the agency."
"people can read your wishes for after you die? disgusting, i would never do it."
"it's kinda compulsory tsukishima." you told him.
"anyway, what are we doing here? this is my place. we don't drive here.""go get changed into dry clothes so you don't get sick or you'll hold it against me forever." he ordered.
"oh my god, tsukishima, were you worried about me?" you teased.
"hurry up before i change my mind."
you didn't wait to take the risk and scurried into your house, drying your hair as quickly as you could before changing into a hoodie. you reached for your door handle to step outside again when you heard a single gunshot.
goosebumps rose on your skin and you ran to your room to grab your own gun, tucking it into the side of your jeans before peeping out the keyhole of your house.
tsukishima's windsheild was cracked, and he was being held at gunpoint but he appeared unharmed. you quietly pulled the door open, looking around to make sure no one else was around. once you knew the coast was clear, you tip toed towards the man who was holding a gun to tsukishima's head.
you stepped on an empty can of coke in the way, causing a crunching noise to be heard from where you were standing. the man turned around and you immediately lowered your gun and aimed right below his knee before shooting.
"what the fuck do you want from us." you demanded, your voice ringing loud and clear.
"as if i'd tell you, bitch." he spat, all while clutching his leg. he had dropped his gun to squeeze his leg, but began reaching for it again but you shot next to the gun, causing him to yank his hand back immediately.
"try touch that and your hand will be gone next. tell me what the fuck you want." you threatened.
"like i said, i'm not saying shit to you, you little-" his hand wrapped his gun that lay on the ground and you readjusted your aim and shot above his elbow.
"i told you to not to take the gun sweetheart. i mean what i say."
"clover—"
you looked over at tsukishima who had a hand over his shoulder, which was now covered in blood.
so maybe he wasn't unharmed."you little bitch, who sent you? why'd you shoot him?" you snapped at the man, walking closer.
the man stayed silent, only paying attention to his wounds.
"you're no good." you groaned in frustration and managed to knock him out with a single blow to the head, and lay him in the backseat of tsukishima's car before helping tsukishima get into the passenger seat."don't let..." tsukishima said hoarsely, the exhaustion and pain evident in his voice.
"don't let what?"
"don't let my car get any blood on it." he mumbled before passing out, fast asleep.
"oh you little fucker, im gonna make sure your car is stained with as much blood as possible." you glowered, and stomped on the accelerator.
