Omariis Ankaa Estrange and the Tiny Town of Forks

Chapter 3: School; Part 1

Omariis woke up from one of her ruthless nightmares with tears and sweat trickling down her face. She was very happy that she had put up a silencing charm on her room, and around her bed. Teddy and Victorie don't need to see her like that. Deciding to go for an early morning run, she quickly changed into her clothes and placed a monitoring charm on Teddy and Victorie's castle before walking out of the room. 

Omariis decided that she would run in the woods, as not to be seen by the public. She found a road and took off. She ran and ran, and ran, and ran, happy that she had kept in shape after the war. She actually thought that she saw a white house up ahead. Deciding not to intrude, she turned around and ran back to town, so that she wouldn't be late for her first day of school, even though she knew that it was only 6:00 am. 

Omariis ran into the house and quietly into the bathroom for a quick shower. When done, she changed and walked into her room to find Teddy and Victorie just waking up. "Time to get up sweeties!" Omariis exclaimed. Their reactions were varying, Teddy said, "No mummy! Five more minutes! I'll give you my all of my galleons." and Victorie hopped up and exclaimed happily, "Ok mummy!" Smiling, Omariis moved over Teddy little window and whispered, "Mummy's making breakfast!" That had Teddy springing out of bed and straight out of the door. Victorie and Omariis chuckled in unison at his childish glee.

When the two girls finally descended the stairs, Teddy was already at the table, his hair flashing bright blue. Victorie quickly joined him. "Now, what do we want for breakfast?" Omariis asked patiently. Teddy shouted, "Honeydukes Chocolate! Chocolate Frogs!" Omariis almost broke down crying at his inherited love of chocolate, but resolved to stay strong for the kids. Victorie shouted, "Bouillabaisse!" Omariis almost cried again, but said, "Maybe for dinner Champ! And Teddy Bear, you can have some chocolate when I leave for school.", "How about we try something American?" she asked. "Yeah! Yeah!" they yelled happily. "Alright kids, wand roll please......Breakfast Pizza!" she exclaimed. The kids both dawned confused expressions, so Omariis explained, "It's fancy bread with red sauce, cheese, and toppings on it. you get to eat it with your hands!" Their faces brightened considerably. Teddy was excited that his hair and eyes were flashing a rainbow of happy colors.  Omariis started the pizza.

Once the kids finished their pizza, Omariis transfigured theirs and her own clothes for the day. Teddy wore a shirt with a wolf on it that was identical to Remus in his form, howling, and brown shorts. Victorie wore a blue dress straight from Gucci and little black flats. The dress definitely fit her personality and pitch black, beautiful Veela hair. Victorie squealed at her dress, saying, "Thank you mummy!", "You're welcome Champ." Omariis smiled kindly just as Bella stumbled down the stairs with Charlie following suit. "Good morning Uncle Charlie, Bella." Omariis said kindly. "Good morning Mari!" Charlie said gruffly before he left for work straight after. That's when she noticed Bella ogling at herself and the kids, mainly Victorie.

"Is-is that Gucci!?" she stuttered. "Yes?" Omariis said/asked, genuinely confused. "Do you have any idea how much that must have cost?" she exclaimed loudly. "Yeah, it was only a couple hundred dollars." Omariis chastied. Bella's jaw just dropped as she mumbled something about heading to school. "See you later Bella!" she shouted out the door. 

Right after Bella left, Luna apparated into the living room. "Hey Omariis!" she said dreamily. "Hey Luna!" Omariis said happily as she hugged her. "Thanks again for watching them. And by the way, make sure to give Teddy his special Honeydukes chocolate, and Victorie, her favorite candy too.", "Yep! Now have fun at school!", "I will!" Omariis yelled as she ran out the door. 

Omariis got into her black Lamborgini and drove to the Forks High School. When she pulled into the parking lot, she noticed, through her black tinted windows that everyone was staring at her in awe. She knew why, Forks would definitely win the world wide gossiping contest. She pulled into a spot by a silver Volvo and sat a second, "You got this Omariis, remember, you're doing this for Hermione, Harry, Ron, and everyone. This is what they would want." she said to herself, then, mustering up her Slytherin elegance, she got out of the car, with her head raised high and walked straight to the school. That's when she felt a pushing on her Occlumency shields. She casually looked around, and what she saw disturbed, but not surprised her; there was a large coven of vampires who were all staring at her. They all had golden eyes which meant that they only drank animal blood. And her cousin, her human cousin, Bella, was with them. Omariis slammed up her shields with force and aggression. The vampire with one of them turned fell backwards, clutching their head in pain, the rest of the family quickly helping him up. When he right himself again, she saw someone that she didn't think that she'd ever see again: Cedric Diggory.
