PERCY, ALONG WITH THE OTHER Avengers was in the int. briefing room watching as Fury threatened the shit out of Loki and him looking extremely amused during it.
All of them except Thor, who didn't even look just listened and stood there, being torn apart, look at the screen intently until it goes black. Everybody stood there in stunned silence. Until finally, Bruce breaks the silence by saying,"He grows on you doesn't he?"
"Loki's gonna drag this out. So, Thor, what's his play?" Steve asked, leaning towards Thor a bit. Thor, walking slightly towards him spoke,"He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard or any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the earth. In return, I suspect, for the Tesseract."
"An army? From outer space?" Steve said, a little flabbergasted at the fact that they were going to be dealing with aliens now. "So, he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for." Bruce says, his glasses sliding down his nose.
"Selvig?"
"He's an astrophysicist."
"He's a friend."
"Loki had him some kind of spell, along with one of ours." Natasha spoke for the first time, her emotions still high knowing that Clint was still under the God of Mischief's spell.
"I wanna know why Loki let us capture him. He's not leading an army from here." Steve said, his expression going a dark. "I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you could smell crazy on him." Bruce said, who was still a bit sensitive from the comment Loki made earlier.
"Have care of how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard, and he's my brother." Thor defended Loki, because even though what he did was not right, he was still family. "He killed eighty people in two days." Said Natasha, looking up from the table, she looked like she could kill you with her eyes which she probably could, who knows.
"He's adopted." Thor replied, as if it excused whatever Loki did. "Yeah, family's are complicated." Said Percy, who hadn't said anything since they had gotten off of the Quinjet. All of them turned to him, who was staring at the blank screen with his arms folded over his chest. Feeling the eyes of his teammates he looked and gave them a confused expression,"What?" He asked.
Bruce looked away from him, still confused and spoke, "I think it's about the mechanics. Iridium, what did they need the Iridium for?" Tony who walked in alongside Agent Coulson spoke,"It's a stabilizing agent." Turning to Phil," II'll fly you there. Keep the love alive. Means the portal won't collapse on itself, like it did at SHIELD." He said. "No hard feelings , Point Break. You've got a mean swing." Tony said tapping Thor's bicep, who in return looked down at his short figure with a bored look.
