Thank you for being so patient! Salzburg Stories is back and we reluanch the story by reintroducing the characters from the previous installment. I can't wait to bring salzburg back to life and create more drama for my poor teenagers. - Jon Dalzotto
ONE WEEK FOLLOWING THE INCIDENT
The students had no idea why this was happening now.
"An assembly? Now? Why?" Duncan asked the blonde girl sitting next to him.
"About what happened last week maybe?" She responded.
Everyone shifted their gazes towards Mrs. Jin who had just stepped onto the stage. Of course all assemblies were held in the theater.
"I would like to reflect on the recent events that have occurred in our school."
No one had ever seen Mrs. Jin so serious. Her eyes were stern and her voice was rough. Rick stood up and walked out of the gym before she could say another word, his actions followed to the letter by Zippy.
"Would anyone else like to leave?" Mrs. Jin asked the students.
Nobody moved.
"Now, as I am sure you’re all aware, there was a death in our school last week. During a wrestling match one student accidentally broke another student’s neck. The student at fault is being put on house arrest until the trial." The crowd whispered to one another.
...
John took one punch after another patiently.
"This is your fault!" Xeno screamed.
He continued to bury his fist into John's head.
"Your fault!"
...
"The aftermath of these events is even more grim." Mrs. Jin continued. "One of our teachers Mr. Highly has been sent to the hospital after a gruesome attack from one of our students whose name will not be disclosed."
...
"Now you are going to pay!" Xeno continued his screaming as he pulled out a gun.
John sighed and closed his eyes.
"You remember this gun don't you? This is the gun you shot me with!"
The pain was like nothing he had ever felt before, hot and cold at the same time. The night rain washed the blood into a nearby drain. John could feel every single nerve light up as the bullet left his leg.
...
"All musical activities have been postponed until further notice and wrestling and boxing have been banned from the school completely. You are all dismissed." Mrs. Jin finished.
"I guess we're free." Zephier announced.
"That's how it appears." Fern agreed.
"Lets find your brother and tell him about the music business."
"Don't be so insensitive. He really cares about that girl so let him have so time alone with her." Fern barked.
"Erin? I'm sure she will be fine! A little flu won't kill her." Zephier grinned.
…
ONE MONTH FOLLOWING THE INCIDENT
“You know this isn’t right! You have to come out man!” The voice rang around John’s skull.
They were there but he couldn’t hear them. Lost in his own dimension, John was gone. He had locked his time-worn door the moment he got home last week and hasn't left since.
