Chapter 7: Gym Class (Part Two)

...

"John you forgot your shirt!" Rick called out.

John ignored Rick and just kept storming down the hallway. His mind flashed back to when he was with Xeno and how Xeno began to act different, began to change…

"Xeno what's the matter?" John asked his boyfriend.

"Nothing." Xeno slouched.

"Your lying aren't you. You’re so different now!" John grabbed Xeno's shoulder.

"John you know what I'm like. If I spend to long with you the cloaked people will take you away like they always do when someone gets close to me."

The two boys had just gotten out of class. John had noticed Xeno was acting stranger than his normal strange.

"Do you think that I'm scared?" John laughed.

"It's easy for you to be cocky when you've never met them!"

"Calm down Xenny." John used his nickname to try to make Xeno smile.

"Not now John." Xeno didn't smile.

"Are you sure nothing’s wrong?" John asked very sternly.

"Are, are you cheating on me John?" Xeno turned to face him.

"What?! How could you even come up with something like that?!" John went from confused to angry in a matter of seconds.

"You seem to be getting very close to some of the girls here" Xeno frowned.

"You mean Nie? She's just a friend!" John defended.

"I think you better leave me alone for a little while baby." Xeno said and turned away.

John didn't know how to respond to his insane partner. Instead of talking he ran, he just ran away.

Xeno snickered and let out a dark grin that could pierce through steel. "Run my love, run."

...

As John brought his mind back to the present he realized he was standing right in front of Mrs. Zin, shirtless.

"Oh! Mrs. Zin! I am so sorry, I just left gym class for a breather and...”

"No worry's John. I'm not complaining." Mrs. Zin said as she quickly shot her eyes down his body.

"Um, okay. Well I really got to go now Mrs. Zin." John awkwardly announced.

"Well, if you have too." Mrs. Zin sighed in disappointment.

John turned and began to walk away, a little confused as to what just happened.

Rick was still running down the hall after John. "Hey John could you please just talk to me?"

The obviously oblivious John walked straight past Rick all the way to gym. Rick didn't follow, he could tell John had no intention of talking. Heartbroken, he put in his earphones and found a nice place to leave reality.

...

Back in gym class Abel had finally finished off her tenth challenger. None off the guys dared take a shot at her after she nearly broke Duncan's neck from putting him in her deadly headlock. She was beginning to feel like no one else would take her on when suddenly from the back wall Nie stepped forwards. The whole class turned to her.

"Let's get this over with. I don't want to spend all class playing with a snob like you." Nie stated as she stepped up to Abel.

The two got into their ready positions and locked eyes. Abel was confident this would be and easy fight. Nie was skinny, weak as a mosquito and looked like one too.

"You may begin ladies." Mr. Ginger sighed. "Oh right! Abel try not to break any bones this time."

Nie began with a quick punch to the gut.

"No punching Nie!" Mr. Ginger yelled.

Abel fell to her hands and knees.

"This is for taking him from me!" Nie screamed as she kicked Abel in the chest.

Nie continued the pounding for a few seconds before Abel grabbed her legs and picked her up. Nie scrached and clawed before Abel sent her crashing head first into the mat. Nie's neck made a horrifying snapping sound as it connected, her body went limp and blood drained out of her mouth. Nie was dead and John had just walked through the gym doors to witness it.

End of Salzburg Stories Book 1

That's right! Book 1 is over and book two is soon to be started! I have loved this series so much and it is still my #1 project but I felt like this would be a good spot to end the first part in the saga! I am open to suggestions if you have them. The next book will be much more intense and will be given a mature rating but will still be mainly romance. Thanks for reading and please favorite, follow or review! It means a lot to me! - Jon Dalzotto
