💫Chapter 1 💫

Finally!

Me and my parents arrived at King's Cross and walked through the gates.

There I was going to meet my best friends Luna Lovegood, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley.

I walked through King's Cross, mostly looking for either Ron's fire orange hair or Luna's platinum blond locks.

Finally, I saw a streak of blonde from the corner of my eye, and immediately ran to hug her.

Without even looking at her face, I hugged her deeply. Suddenly I felt her push off of me.

"Get off me, mudblood!" A familiar voice said.

I could feel my head almost explode with cringe.

"Draco, do you know this young lady?" A man said.

Malfoy looked at me and snickered.

Then his face relaxed into an unreadable expression and he said, "No, I think she's just gotten the wrong person"
I exhaled and nodded to him in a "Thank you so so much for not embarrassing me!" face.

He rolled his eyes and I caught up with my parents.

It took only a few steps after that to find Ron, Hermione, and Harry. It seemed like they had seen the whole thing.

"What in the bloody hell was that, Y/N!?" Ron said, quite seriously.

"I thought he was Luna." I said, and me and Hermione laughed.

I wished my parents goodbye, and they left King's Cross. "Y/N!" I heard a woman's voice say.

I turned around to see Mrs. Weasley, Fred and George standing nearby. "Hello Mrs. Weasley!" I said, as she embraced me for a hug.

"Awh, your so tall now!" She said, cupping my cheeks. "My boys are always talking about how pretty you are an-"

"MOM!" Ron said, running to my side. Harry and Hermione laughed and we all prepared to run into 9 ¾.

Right before we all ran in, Mrs. Weasley yelled, "Harry, Y/N, Hermione, Please know that if you ever need a place to stay for Ch-" "WE KNOW!" Harry, Hermione and I all called as we ran into 9 ¾.

Unfortunately, The compartment Harry stayed in was full and I had to sit in the one behind him.

I figured I would keep myself busy and pulled out my new book.

I pulled the whole series before I left home, and was desperately trying to get into the books.

I had only read the back when I pulled it, and had no idea how sappy the romance was.

I sighed as I trekked through the third chapter.

Suddenly, there was a knock on my compartment door.

"Anyone in here?" I heard a voice say.

Before I could answer, the door swiped open and Draco Malfoy stared me in the face.

"Oh, It's just you." Malfoy said, sneering.

The dreadful Pansy Parkinson stood on her toes behind him, striving to get a look at me.

"Go away, Draco." I said looking back at my book.

He swooped into the compartment and grabbed my book.

"What're you reading, mudblood?" He said with a smirk on his face.

I jumped out if my seat and tried to reach for the book back, but at thg his point Draco had already read some of it.

"Oooo" he mocked.

"Stop it." I said seriously.

He eyes Pansy, Crabbe and Goyle and closed the book and put it beside him.

"So L/N is into Romance is she?" He said smirking.

"Shut up Malfoy." I said, grabbing my book back.

"Good thing I'm into that" Draco said, winking.

Was Draco Malfoy really flirting with me right now?

"Oh, give it a rest." I said rolling my eyes.

"Just remember, you owe me." He said, closing the compartment door.

I could almost feel the look Pnasy was going to give me when we arrive at Hogwarts.

I heard a rustle outside and I looked up from my book.

For the second time, the door slid open, but this time I was much fonder of the face.

"Hello Luna!" I said as Luna Lovegood slipped into the seat across from me.

"Why Hello Y/N." Luna said dreamily.

"I have a friend I'd love for you to meet!" She added, gesturing to the door.

The handsome Cedric Diggory slipped in the seat next to Luna, closing the door behind him.

I had to hide the blush from my face as he sat in front of me.

Cedric was two years older than me, and though we had never talked, I knew exactly who he was.

I just wasn't sure if he knew me..

Cedric gave me a charming smile and sat quite abnormally next to Luna, afraid to move his position.

"You'll find him quite useful." Luna said, getting up from her seat.

"But where are you doing? I asked Luna, dreading being alone with Cedric.

Luna smiled. "I'm going to sit with the other Ravenclaws, of course." She replied as she slipped through the door, closing it as she went.

I sighed, looking at Cedric.

He stared at me with his honey eyes, that you couldnt help but get lost in.

He exhaled loudly, like he had been holding his breath and changed his position to one that appeared much more comfortable.
