After that ordeal, I barely talked to anyone the whole day. The Golden Trio and I had nothing to discuss, and I had no time to be around Luna.

I moped around the long corridors, feeling a little empty. I had 15 minutes before supper.

I pressed my back against the wall and slid down. It was so fun to do, but I knew it messed up my robes.

I sighed and pulled out my book. I had made it practically nowhere before I heard footsteps. I decided not to look up in case it was someone I didn't like.

I heard the footsteps near further and I couldn't help myself. The painfully tall and handsome Tri-Wizard Champion, Cedric Diggory stood by my side.

I gave him a cheeky smile and he sat down next to me.

"What are you reading?" He smiled as he looked over at my book.

"Oh nothing." I smiled as I closed the book and put it by my side.

His face was just inches away from mine, and I felt my face get hot.

There was a moment of silence before Cedric spoke up again.

Cedric's POV

I told myself that I wouldn't bring it up with Y/N, but I couldn't help it.

"I heard what happened in the courtyard today." I said, slightly smiling.

Y/N looked at her robes and sighed.

"What was that about?" I asked.

"I suppose Draco just pushed it a bit too far." She said, slightly laughing.

"What did he do?" I asked. I tried my best not to push it, but my curiosity clearly got the best of me.

Y/N laughed. "Just some dim-witted comment about me and Harry dating." She said.

I could feel my face get a little hot. I felt this anger coarse through me, but I kept myself composed.

Your POV

"Are you?" Cedric asked. This made me blush, but I was sure he was just curious.

"Of course not!" I said, playfully punching Cedric.

Cedric's POV

What a relief.

Your POV

Dinner came and went, and soon enough I found myself relaxing in the Gryffindor common room.

I was restless and watched the fire glow. I remembered my first day at Hogwarts. Times were so much different then.

I heard the painting creak open and someone come.

Who could be up this late?

Harry Potter emerged from the shadows. He immediately saw me and we locked eyes.

He headed over to me and sat by my side, watching the fire with me. He sighed and I looked to him.

"I'm sorry about earlier." He said, looking down.

I smiled warmly. "It's ok."

There was silence for a couple of moments.

"Y/N.." Harry said, looking at me.

Harry's POV

"Yes?" Y/N replied.

I was going to do it. I was going to tell her I've had feelings for her since Third Year.

Just as I was about to say it, my throught clogged. I couldn't even muster words.

Y/N looked at me, waiting for me to say something.

Instead I got up. "I- I have to go." I said, running to the boys dormitories.
