DID THE CEDRIC DIGGORY JUST ASK ME TO THE YULE BALL? THE KIND BOY WHO CAN HAVE ANY PERSON HE WANTS- EEEEEEE

"Wha- Why- Huh? YES." I mustered pushing down the possiblity that this was a prank.

His warm smile spread across his whole face and he was beaming. This was much different from what I had felt when Draco asked me.

"Uh- Thank you" Cedric said before I laughed and buried my head in his chest.

I let Hermione dazzle me and make me hot for a couple hours after she was done with herself. She did my makeup and my hair, and helped me change the color of my dress, (that was once green) to gold. The gold fit just as good, if not better than the forest green used to.

I was ecstatic to go see Cedric at the Yule Ball. Maybe it was better Draco was going with Pansy.

I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. I usually never had self-confidence, but now was different. I looked great.

I hugged Hermione before she fussed about my makeup.

Me, Hermione, and Ginny all walked into the great hall just for all heads to turn in our direction.

"They're all looking at us!" I whispered to Hermione.

"They're all looking at you."

"Huh?"

I blushed and scanned the crowd before I met the eyes of my favorite caramel head.

I almost tripped when rushing down the stairs. He made his way to the front and held his hand out. I gladly took it and almost all eyes were on us as we walked to a seating area.

I could feel one particular pair of icey blue-grey eyes staring right through my soul from across the room. Oh great..

Draco's POV

I had to do something about her and Diggory! He's much too soft for her, being a Hufflepuff and all. Ugh! The thought of Y/N with that scum makes my blood boil. I had to at least get one dance in with her.

At this point, Y/N and Diggory were talking at a table.

Heh, two seats left. I turned to Pansy.

"Come." I said. The less words I speak to her, the better.

Pansy followed me and sat down right next to me at the table, but not before glaring at Y/N.

"Hello Malfoy."
