RECOVERY

*Tony's POV

~After a couple of hours~

Me and Y/N have just arrived in her penthouse, since the tower is under renovation and the Malibu is totally out of service, it's the only place that we can stay. I carefully sat Y/N on the bed because she's still weak from everything that happened tonight.

"Hey, you're home, baby." I told her as I sat beside her, held her cheek in my hand and softly caressed it. She looked at me and gave me a smile. I smiled back at her and she went near me and hugged me. I hugged her back and gave her a kiss on the head.

"I am home. In your arms." She said and I smiled big at her. Then, she slowly let go of the hug and she looked at her hands and I noticed that the ring isn't in her finger.

"Where's the ring?" I asked her.

"Well, after they put the extremis on me. My body literally becomes hot and it accidentally melt." She said guiltily. "Look, I never meant to melt it---"

"Baby, it's not your fault. I can just buy you the exact copy of the ring from the store--"

"Tony--"

"Baby, that engagement ring means something to us. I know you'll say that I spend way too much things for you, but baby, you deserve it. After what happened, I really thought that I almost lost you." I looked at the ground and tears starts to cloud my eyes. I tightly closed my eyes for it to stop falling. But, it's not working. Tears fell from my eyes and I felt Y/N wipe them away. I opened my eyes and I looked at her.

"Babe, let's not blame each other, okay? You didn't lost me. I am here. We are here. And we'll continue this, together." She said and I just nodded my head. I leaned near her and kissed her lips. I held her cheeks in my hands as she grabbed my shirt in her hand. I slowly broke the kiss and I gave her a kiss on her forehead. 

"Never leave me, please." I said fearfully. 

"I won't. And don't you ever leave me too." She said and I nodded my head.

"I promise." She smiled at me and she went inside the bathroom. Then, she went back to the bed. A little later, she held my hand and pulled me with her inside the bathroom.

"Baby, are you sure you're okay with this?" I asked her.

"Babe, what are you thinking? I'm just gonna fix your wounds." She said as I saw the first aid kit settled on the counter. 

"Oh..." I said. 

"Disappointed?" She teased as she smirked. I just chuckle and shook my head.

"Not at all. I was just worried at why you dragged me here and thought that--"

"That we were going to have sex?" She continued as she patted the counter. I take that signal and took a seat on the counter.

"Yes?.. I just don't want to happen something until you're okay." I said. 

"I am okay, I just don't want to have some action right now until, the extremis is not in my body." She said as she put the cotton on my bloody eyebrow.

"Ouch!" I hissed in pain as I felt the sting.

"I'm sorry." She said. 

"Not your fault, honey.." I said.

"Hmm. I like that." 

"The what?" 

"The way you called me honey." She said and she blushed.

"You're blushing honey." I just laughed at her as she giggled and hid her head on my chest. I just rubbed her back and kissed her head.

"I hate you.." She said as she looked at me.
